DJMax Trilogy is a rhythm action game with five difficulty modes ranging from limited four-key gameplay to a challenging eight-key setup. As notes are played with perfect accuracy, a "fever gauge" will be charged. When it is fully charged, Fever can be activated. Fever acts as a multiplier to score and it varies between x2 and x5.

Played every song, I can't say I mastered it because I can't coordinate 8 fingers to play at the same time, I can barely play with 6. I love rhythm games and I think the DJMAX games are the best ones out there, fuck all that Osu crap, you can't mimic the feels and quality of DJMAX. Now I'm playing Respect V and it's equally good, maybe even better becacuse the quests are a lot more doable than Trilogy's.

this is a solid rhythm game that i can't get into because of how barebones it is. there aren't any interesting gameplay quirks to make djmax stand out, but then again the enthusiasts for this kinda niche will probably see that as a good thing
