PlayStation-only sequel to Jaleco's crossover cute-'em-up. The system uses a gun controller connected to the 2P controller socket to provide cover fire for the shooter. The title of the game is therefore a combination of Gun and the Japanese word Ganbare (Don't give up!). Even if you don't have a gun controller, you can use a DualShock controller to shoot for cover.

the 3D models here aged worse than the 2D sprites of the original but its still game tengoku which means you really cant go wrong. The charm of the first game is as present here as it was in the first game, which was exactly what I was looking for. As for gameplay, it feels the same but I may not be learnt enough on shmups to really know how good or bad it really is on that front. Either way, I certainly had a great time.
