The one I prefer to play if I ever feel like either an oot or mm mood, I just play combo lol. With custom music now its my go to Rando. Goated.

Big MM Rando fan, did a combo w my cousin running the same seed. I forget what it was, but we got stuck on something super annoying. I prefer MM overall, but may give standalone OoT and/or this another chance sometime.

This is such a good randomizer! It is absolutely wild that they combined both games! Both games are great on their own, but together is a whole new beast. They repurposed the Happy Mask Shop in OoT and the Clocktower in MM to act as a portal between games. All of the items from both games are thoroughly mixed up throughout both worlds.

The settings are very robust. You can remove any check that you are bad at in the game (looking at you, 1500 horseback archery). You can tell the randomizer logic to plan for any tricks or glitches you know (such as getting into Zora's Domain with a cuccoo instead of needing Zelda's Lullaby) and it will generate a seed accordingly.

As someone who is fairly good at OoT, but very unfamiliar with MM I appreciated being able to toggle randomization settings by game instead of all or nothing. For OoT, I did full keysanity meaning dungeon keys could be found anywhere in either games. For MM on the other hand, those dungeon keys were just randomly placed within their original dungeon (i.e. Great Bay keys were in the Great Bay Temple). That made the half of the game I was less familiar with so much more accessible! And that can be set for many categories like shop inventories, skulltula tokens, and more!

This really breathes new life into two beloved games from my childhood! It is challenging, but incredibly fun. And do to the extreme level of customization, you can make it extremely beginner friendly, or insanely difficult for masochists (no logic seeds look so scary).

I quite like Ocarina of Time randomized but don't think I'm particularly fond of Majora's Mask randomized (losing your potions and whatnot when you rewind time's not great when it's not possible to buy potions easily) so I'll probably just stick to Ocarina of Time randomizer in the future. This is a neat idea though!
