A port of Shrek 2

The gruff but lovable ogre returns to Game Boy Advance in this platform-hopping adventure that encourages teamwork among a small squad of onscreen characters. Players control Shrek and up to three of his companions as they side-scroll through levels based on locations in the feature film sequel Shrek 2. Different obstacles require the abilities of different characters to overcome them, so players must switch between their chosen team members as each situation requires. Shrek is strong enough to move objects that others can not, for example, while Donkey is able to kick open doors and Fiona can slow down time for easier attacks. The game also features characters and areas not seen in the film, offering fans new fairy tale people to meet and lands to explore.

It is a pretty generic puzzle platformer but if you are a Shrek fan and have some time to kill it can be fun.

Decent game with horrible music and wonky controls

Why can't we have good Shrek games?

This game was so fun as a kid, and somewhat holds up today as a cool niche platformer.

unusually fire. annoying and not very fun but still…there’s something here. i genuinely kind of love how it looks during gameplay. charm here that isn’t present in most of these licensed GBA platformers. music fucking sucks though!

This game controls very badly, yet expects you to navigate tediously long levels where on mistake can instantly kill you and send you back to the beginning of the chapter your on because this game has no checkpoints. Everything about it feels cheaply made and low quality aside from the pre-rendered graphics which are the only good thing about this game.
