Such a simple and fun run'n'gun!
Can be quite tricky sometimes but it is very very enjoyable as an arcade game to come back to several times.

Really liked it for how simple and effective it is.

I like a lot of things about this one. I think that it is, on the whole, a well-balanced arcade game whose parts work well together. Level designs force precision in jumping and firing. It plays very differently depending on if your throwing stars are powered up or not, and the shield is so effective because losing a life is so costly. Unfortunately, there are a lot of limitations (no autofire, for one) that make less sense. This is a game that would have been at home on the Genesis, warts and all.

cute but desperately lacking in QOL features. autofire could've went a long way in making this more playable, especially seeing as there was already a target and movement lock.

the difficulty was enjoyable until around stage 6 where things veer too far into "gotcha" game design and it falls off pretty heavily. the final boss being a damage race as trying to survive through attack cycles becomes messy due to the amount happening on screen ends things with a bit of a sour note.

Really simple but really charming platformer. Some of the levels are really hard (level 6, particularly) but the continue systems are forgiving enough. A sequel expanding some of the elements would be nice as this game already have a pretty good foundation for what it is. The co-op is really enjoyable too.

Yep, still not a fan of games that are difficult just for the sake of being difficult and no other reason whatsoever.

spielt sich so schlimm, wie es aussieht.
