One of the few golf games for the DC, with a cartoony style. Contains arcade mode, tournaments, five different courses and 15 characters (11 unlockable). Lots of different equipment (balls and clubs mostly) and even a futuristic cyber mini golf game are thrown in.

While I like the shot mechanics being similar to the T&E SOFT golf games with the circular shot power/accuracy, the game itself leaves a lot to be desired. The character models are cute but lack really any personality and the courses themselves are very boring and plain in terms of terrain variety.

The biggest offender this game has is its also just painfully slow, often taking a full couple minutes before it rolls back to your turn watching the CPUs play their shots. With no fast forward function, it gets grating.

It's hard to separate personal taste from objective quality when rating a game, so I decided to go straight down the middle instead.
I have known for a while that sport games aren't my thing, so of course I didn't enjoy Tee Off very much, but I can tell it's not a bad game. It's well made, more over-the-top then you would expect from a golf game, and serves it's purpose as golf on the Dreamcast well.
The only objective criticism that I can give the game is that there are long sequences where you have to watch the CPU make their move, and it limits the amount of time that you're actually playing the game a lot. The rock soundtrack and repeated voice lines can also get tiring after a while, so I recommend listening to something else while playing.
If you're into golf games, then I guess Tee Off is fine, but I'm not, so whatever.

It's bootleg Hot Shots Golf but still pretty good
