Transformers: War for Cybertron is a third-person shooter video game based on the Transformers franchise. Set on the Transformers' home planet of Cybertron, prior to their arrival on Earth, the game depicts the deadly civil war between Autobots and Decepticons. Players may pick either faction, as each has its own separate campaign. The game was delisted at the end of 2017 and the online multiplayer servers were shutdown in April 2020.

This is probably the darkest part of the Transformers series. Its main advantage, as for me, is the choice of a game character, which for some reason they decided not to do in the following parts. I also note that the control in the form of a car feels much more pleasant here.

Story is alright but gameplay wise, its just peak third person shooter imo.
they should have added more incentive to the vehicle form in combat instead of just being able to move faster with it though.

One of the better transformers games. Cybertron series of transformers games are probably best of them all. Graphics are okay, you could even say stylised. Gameplay doesn't feel bad. Characters do have good voicing, most of the time. However, game does overstay it's welcome near the end. Some enemies do feel spongey. If you are going to play transformers games, do play this one.
