Excellent game on the switch. It was an early title, but helped prop up between releases the console for me. The feeling of climbing while rolling your little seed, and the way they transform other mechanics from different games is quite fun and interesting, and progression feels very 1:1 with how it looks to proceed through it.

One of the first games I purchased on my brand new Switch in 2017. This game is truly unique, using the twin sticks to balance a seed while moving it up the screen. A simple concept but the mechanics of dodging obstacles and keeping the seed safe are quite deep. The difficulty was initially pretty tough but an update made the game much more approachable.

I had a shiny new portable console. I wanted to play new games on it. Tumbleseed was one of those. It's not very fun or memorable, but I suppose it had a little bit of charm.

One of those design-fundamental games that ends up with with an incredibly challenging but flow state inducing gameplay loop. Still working on doing a full mountain run someday

Really great improvements to a tired genre. The feel of tilting the platform with the analog sticks is great, and should be remembered as a unique and innovative control system. Would have beat it if it wasn't a rogue-like.

Super pretty artstyle. Unique and fun movement. Just way too hard, for me lil' fake gamer at least.
