This game was fun as a kid, but I recall it not having much to do outside of regular matches. There were quite a few options to spice things up, like different kinds of matches, but this was very much a "you play this to wrestle and that's it" game.

WWE Wrestlemania X8 offers a decent roster of attitude-era wrestlers and captures the basic thrills of WWE action. The gameplay, while simple to pick up, lacks the depth and strategic nuance of its successors. The story mode, "Path of a Champion," is relatively short but offers branching storylines. Its graphics, while a step up for the series at the time, now look very dated. If you're a die-hard fan of this particular era in wrestling, it may offer some nostalgic charm, but it falls short compared to more refined wrestling experiences.

The gameplay in this wrestling game was so wacky, I kinda miss it.

I give WrestleMania X8 a strong 6!

Pro wrasslin is fun. Character creation is hilarious. 6/10

The core of a good game is there but the roster, game modes, and gameplay needs more depth and variety. Future GCN titles built upon this and are more worth your time and money

Got this one with the GameCube. (or shortly thereafter) It was my 1st experience with that current gen’s graphics and they blew me away. Could’ve been rated higher if there was a story mode to play!
