This game was fun as a kid, but I recall it not having much to do outside of regular matches. There were quite a few options to spice things up, like different kinds of matches, but this was very much a "you play this to wrestle and that's it" game.

The core of a good game is there but the roster, game modes, and gameplay needs more depth and variety. Future GCN titles built upon this and are more worth your time and money

One of the best wrestling game control layouts of all time. Incredibly accessible and fun to play. The roster, representing the peak of the real world WWF/WCW/ECW merger, allowed for a lot of great match-ups. Looked very good for its time, and for me it was the first opportunity I got to try out Ladder Match or Hell in a Cell modes.

But the big shadow hanging over this is simply the lack of any meaningful single player content. Like a modern day Mario Sports title, there's nothing for you to do: No career mode, no unique single player objectives. My sense of childhood imagination and wonder in 2002 didn't mind it, I just played Exhibition mode and made up my own storylines. But today, yeah, it sucks.

Pro wrasslin is fun. Character creation is hilarious. 6/10

Got this one with the GameCube. (or shortly thereafter) It was my 1st experience with that current gen’s graphics and they blew me away. Could’ve been rated higher if there was a story mode to play!

Solid game at the time of release but was eclipsed by Wrestlemania XIX in almost every conceivable way
