Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories, released in Japan as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters III: Tri-Holy God Advent, is a Game Boy Color video game and the third title in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters series of games. It was released in Japan on July 13, 2000, and it was the first Yu-Gi-Oh! video game to be released outside of Japan, with a United States release date of March 19, 2002. Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories brings the classic card-battling anime to life on the Game Boy Color. While it captures the spirit of the show, the gameplay can feel repetitive and the AI opponents often make baffling decisions. The limited card pool compared to later releases also restricts deck-building creativity. However, for fans nostalgic for old-school Yu-Gi-Oh! or card game enthusiasts, this offers a decent, if somewhat dated, experience.

Suprisingly i had more fun with this one than i expected. It's not really worth playing it over other options if i'm being honest, but it's not a bad game. Creating your own cards is also a pretty nice mechanic giving you easy access to strong cards, wich means no need to farm to beat it.
