i remember playing this as a kid and calling nintendo customer support to ask how to beat the game cause the final level's overworld icon remained red/incomplete even after i beat bowser

Je l'ai recommencé 4 fois et je ne l'ai jamais terminé en entier.

Ma maman m'a toujours répétée que si les autres enfants se moquaient de moi c'est parce que j'étais un peu différent :)

I understand the frustration that occurs when a franchise you love becomes something so completely different that you no longer recognize it. It is no wonder why this game, with all the changes that it brought to the formula after an already completely different experience in the form of Super Paper Mario, came to be the most hated entry in the Paper Mario series. But all the hatred directed at it is, in my opinion, unfair and unwarranted. While I admit that Sticker Star suffers from a lack of a compelling story, it's attempt at an Action Adventure style of game is extremely fun and makes for great level design that surpasses that of previous titles. Yes, the RPG elements that made The Thousand Year Door are no longer here, and that is a change that was bound to alienate pre-existing fans, but it does not mean the game is inherently flawed. It simply tried a new gameplay approach that, viewing it from a vacuum, was entirely successful.
