i feel like the protagonist of kill bill wtf

Bom para o tempo livre.

OBS: Nem acredito que consegui atingir todas as metas.

Picked this up super cheap and was pleasantly surprised. I don't have time to get good at it, but the brief rounds of frantic ultra-violence ending in my horrible death are a good laugh.

A fine little arcade slasher

decent, with a fye soundtrack and a really addictive gameplay loop.

Quick, yet solid arcade action. Fun when nothing else to play, but 100% completing it isn't worth it. Best in short bursts.

Cyberpunk arena combat game where you fight a wave of 100 enemies before the boss enemy appears, killing them starts the next wave. You have a sword, gun, block, and dash move and can do two special attacks when your adrenaline meter fills. You can unlock different swords with new abilities, guns, shoes to change your dash style, accessories, and cigarettes to change your dash color by completing different challenges. Fun well made simple game. More options would be nice just to make some custom runs by changing up enemy types, effects, skill, or enemy amounts.

There are good indie games, and there are games like this that pretend to be good, but they are still crap, under the beautiful cover of reviews. From the gameplay, clearing out the same pixelated yakuza. The controls suck, both on the gamepad and on the keyboard.

this game is fun, the music is good, but it's also extremely buggy and annoying to complete. sometimes i'd try to deflect and the button just wouldn't respond, or sometimes the trail of the boss would be left behind. so it's fun, but not fun enough to beat imo

Just a really fun arcade endless survival game. A lot fo the unlocks are really hard to get so I didn't have them all unlocked before I grew tired of the one level and one boss the game offered.

Kill the crows but samurai girl

Very fun and satisfying gameplay held back by a baffling combo system whose timer is so short it punishes you for playing "too cool" and getting multikills with the same specials that combos feed, because a cleared screen means a reset combo if the next enemy takes too long to show up. Plus weapon specials take time to charge, which is time not killing, which kills your combos.

This along with multiple unlocks being tied in this system makes replaying again and again to go faster become less satisfying instead of more.

Akane is the 2nd game I have played on my steam deck and I feel like this was just made for it. The arcade style combat is just a treat.

Hardly any story for this game but that is fine as this is not needed.

The art style is right up my alley. I'm here for the cyberpunk art style, The music in Akane is a great lofi synth score.
I think it is safe to say the artistic style of this game is for me.

The gameplay is fantastic and feels great.
Very rewarding and feels like a dumbed down version of Hades, nothing wrong with that.

This game is great and for $7.50 it's an easy purchase everyone should play it.

Also the 65hrs isn't the real time I put it in sleep mode and steam still counted the hours. I am unsure how many real hours I've played

fun core gameplay but gets repetitive really quick because of some stupid decisions, like katana zero but worse.

Yo this game fucks so hard.

Not much to it but it's still a damn good time.

Fun for short games now and then. It's a game I'll play for a couple rounds while having a break, and it's perfect for that.

Akane is an underappreciated little thing. I care for it dearly.

Largely you can tell the developers cared that they were making Akane even in aspects that aren't fully fleshed out, such as the story or physical presentation of the world: it isn't the most illustrious game in terms of budget, yet it still doesn't stutter or falter in delivering what it wants to.

It's a cute little package. The sound design & soundtrack are excellent and do a great job at vacuum-sealing the aesthetic of putting you in a cyberpunk murder-trance.

Okay it's kinda like if Hyper Light Drifter was a horde/wave survival game in modern japan? :slaps roof: you can fit so much fucking Great Soundtrack in this bad boy. Not sure if there's an ending or not, really enjoyed my time with it.

A very solid arcade game with sweet aesthetics.
Unlocking everything is honestly a pain in the butt because plenty of requirements are RNG based. I'd personally rather go for high scores than "kill X mob with a special move while at 50+ combo", but I still did it because I like the gameplay.
Also, smoking isn't cool, but Akane wants to die anyways.

Arcade game, replay until you get bored. Fun, satisfying timewaster, though also very frustrating at times. Surprisingly fun bosses. Looks great, sounds great. Don't expect it to be anything more than it sets out to be, though.

Refreshing action game where the story doesn't evoke anything, but has frantic gameplay accompanied by small self-improvement challenges resulting in a nice replay factor.
