A very simple little game that has some funny moments here and there. It feels like it ought to be a sort of point and click adventure or puzzle sort of game, but ends up just being some funny dialogue and some ok mini-games.

Uneven levels of quality across the minigames, but this is a game to be played for the fun of the world, and the funny characters. It's very cute, completely charming, and hilarious in a wholesome way.

Este juego es super comfy, tiene dialogo cojonudo y los minijuegos son un poco hit or miss. Me gustaria muchas mas cosas de este estilo

not crazy for the writing but i liked the majima cameo

The animation is ridiculously charming and it's one of the funniest games I've played in a while! More games should be like Later Alligator!

a very charming and funny game, filled with lots of puzzle, mini games, and fun characters. loved the art style especially, been waiting for this game to come out for a while and wasn't disappointed. my favourite part was the alligators

just a joyous point-and-click/minigame collection oozing with charm thanks to the characters and the amazing and designs and animation done by smallbu. absolutely worth replaying for all the endings

Incredibly charming. The spirit of Humongous Entertainment is strong with this one.

A wonderful little murder mystery. I love you Pat.

great if you like quirky point-and-clicky comedy games, not too long, but not too short.

Super adorbs little mini game collection that brought me a lot of joy. These characters are just the best! The mini games are hit or miss but I loved every character so much that I didn’t care. Subverting my expectations each time I got to the ending was a nice surprise as well. I can’t help but think that this game would’ve made a better cartoon with voice acting but I loved it nonetheless.

Really charming game, but the minigames have some real highs and lows.

please play this game. just had a big ol' smile plastered on my face the entire time playing this.

A magical experience. A gorgeously wholesome art style and animation, with a wonderful cast of characters. Alligator NYC was an absolute treasure to explore, and I hope SmallBu does something else with the world one day.

A few of the minigames were just straight up not fun, but the ones that are really good were some of the best parts of the game.

Pillowfight has exclusively published bangers wtf

while it i didn't think it was my type of game, i fell in love with the artstyle and characters of this game immediately, and found myself coming back for more every few hours. the only big issue i have with it is that a majority of the time in subsequent playthroughs you just kinda dawdle until you find someone you haven't met before. otherwise, very solid.

so charming and sweet!!! i don't even have anything witty to say it's just a really good game!!

Cute, like if the kid from Over the Garden Wall starred in a mini game collection. Some games are good and others are nightmares (fuck slide puzzles), but the charm is what really sells this game. Short, like <2.5 hours

not all the minigames are of the same quality but this has some of the funniest writing and animations ive ever seen in a game

Good ol' goofy ass game about alligators made by the people behind "baman piderman" like it's just fun and funny and cute and great, I love the hell out of this game

I love this game so much, it's so goofy and charming and the animation style is so great. I am in love with this game thank god for nintendo gold points

It was okay. I think the animation is really charming and well done, and the music is too. I think having different dialogue scroll sounds for different characters would've been cool, considering how much dialogue there is. Even if there were just like, 5 or 6 different ones that characters shared. Total personal preference though.

Some of the minigames were kind of wack. Like the shoe/drawer one was totally luck based, and the anime dating one was fun in concept, but way too long and there was literally no way to know how good you were doing until it was over. When I played it, I thought it ended really well based on the dialogue, but then it told me I failed, and I was so confused. I also wish the time mechanic was more defined throughout the game. You don't know how long something takes (conversation/game/whatever) until you've already done it. They had the times listed for retrying a minigame, but not for anything else, which I think is kinda odd. And because of the time mechanic, you literally can't do everything in one playthrough. And I get that it encourages replayability, but (and I could be wrong here) I feel like the stuff I missed didn't encapsulate a full, secondary, completely different playthrough? And there were also a few of those minigames you HAD to play at least once. So I feel like encouraging replayability shouldn't have been a focus here. And on top of all of that, I felt like the game dragged for just a bit too long. Or maybe it was some of the minigames being too long that made me feel that way.

Regardless, I had fun. I probably just won't be replaying it.
