Assisti a primeira season do anime há algum tempo e achei legal até. Mas o jogo não é o meu estilo, porém não é uma catástrofe. Pra quem curte jogos como girls frontline e kancolle pode ser que goste desse.

pretty great tower defense/strategy RPG game, the story is bonkers on some alternate history shit and the characters are very cool. When I first got into it I got super hooked and was playing nearly daily, but nowadays I've chilled out a bit and usually just log in when I feel like it.

Some things working against the game: gacha mechanics like limited operators make it a bit of a hard sell, and it's also using a live service model, and as with pretty much every live service game there's no offline client and as far as we know, no real contingency if the game ever becomes unprofitable enough that servers shutting down would enter the conversation, which is something that generally makes me wary regardless of how successful the game may be.

maybe will return to this one. i downloaded initially because i fell in love w hoshiguma then as soon as i got her i uninstalled the app. the lore seemed veryyy interesting to me though and im intrigued by the characters too bad this is a gacha game and i am not much of a gacha player

"Arknights" is a standout mobile game that seamlessly combines strategy and tower defense elements.

tl;dr, like tower defense? you must play it

long :
dare i say this is the best gacha i PLAYED yet, hard accentuation on the playing part because unlike other gacha games theres ACTUAL GAMEPLAY involved here. braindead your way with a surtr and thorns setup, or have fun and deploy specialist shoving your enemies into a hole, the true gameplay of arknights is in the endgame where you have dozens of operators leveled opening the possibility to clear stages in multitude of ways, and this is the part where i have the most fun where i access past cleared stages and try to clear them again with funny comps or challenge myself using low star ops. if you like tower defenses this is a massive reccomendation from me, i have yet to see a tower defense game as revolutionary as this even outside of gachas, with the map introducing enemies with multiple paths and a class sinergy between operator and enemy types, different terrain effects and limitations

but of course, by the nature of gacha we need to talk about monetization, comparitively speaking yostar is plentiful in term of rewards and as a f2p player for over 2 years i have obtained most of the 6* and only missing summer chen from the limited pool ones (from my last banner i played) and this is the only reason why i removed half a star from 5 , lol.

story wise, its ok. just watch the anime

ate but i do the stages randomly

This game has some absolutely phenomenal writing - easily some of my favorite I've seen yet. It's worldbuilding might honestly be the most rich I've experienced yet, which is really impressive.
But what really fascinated me was its themes and the myriad of perspectives it uses to portray these with. It's got nothing but love for idealists - even while displaying it in a dying world, it's seen as utterly commendable holding onto it despite the hardships you undoubtedly face as a result. But it knows this isn't always as easy as it seems, and there's plenty of characters that very realistically struggle to keep that faith alive for an extended period of time and still manage to shake off those worries for the sake of a better future.
A lot of it has been very relevant to me lately, and incredibly comforting as a result. Ch'en and Muelsyse are especially characters I'll think fondly of for a long time due to how much their character arcs mean to me - but the main trio of the Doctor, Amiya and Kal'tsit are also some of the most profoundly fascinating characters I've seen in a long time. It's got such a great cast.

It's not without it's flaws however; and I'm not even gonna talk about the gacha aspect because that's a given - I think the stamina system in this game might genuinely be the worst I've ever seen. You get like 3 refill items a week; which wouldn't be too bad on it's own, but considering the amount of grinding you have to do to make sure your operators can keep up with the gradually increasing difficulty of the story, it's really rough. You've gotta grind LMD, exp tickets, general materials AND promotion chips; all while being able to do like 10 maps a day if you don't get any automatic stamina refills due to level-ups. It grinds the game's pace to a halt, and as a result I ended up using alternative methods to experience the story at the pace I wanted to do so while playing the game itself on the side - otherwise I would've probably read it at about 1/10th of the pace I did now.
I didn't regret it one bit considering how fantastic it ended up being, but yeah - be prepared for a slog if you wanna experience it naturally.

A very well worthwhile slog if you're up for it - but one I personally much rather sped up to get to the things that really interested me; its utterly incredible writing.

goood game overall but gachashit

Eles não precisavam ser meio furrys, eles só achavam maneiro e deixaram assim, eles só tem câncer mesmo.

TD game that puts its peers to shame. Isn't afraid to innovate and step outside the box by adding RTS and puzzle elements into the game. Has repeatable game modes, Diverse music and a surprisingly fleshed out world building. Don't let the gacha tag fool you. This thing is more closer to a real game than a typical gacha game.

tower defense ok, gacha justo e personagens muito bem feitos, mas acho pouco new player friendly

been playing it since global released with a few breaks. pretty comfy. i don't think anything is going to top il siracusa for a while. decent new player experience, really fun characters, main story, and soundtrack - certain permanent game modes are good, and non Contingency Contract events can be fun. pretty neat for a gacha that's not backed by a pre-existing IP and probably my favorite of them right now.

but, you know. it's a gacha game. a gacha is a gacha. power creep exists in newer units, even though you can clear everything with the units you basically get for "free", that doesn't mean it'll be easier.

but it gave me projekt red, so it can't be that bad....

This game has the worst fucking marketing of all time but I highly recommend it if you can accept the fact that it's a gacha.

If you're somewhat interested in the tower defense genre, it's a must-try. It offers great gameplay diversity, an incredible OST, and a captivating story. However, keep in mind that it's a gacha game, which comes with some downsides like grinding, FOMO, microtransactions, and stamina restrictions. On the positive side, great lore, the game is generous with rewards, has less fanservice character designs, and keeps you engaged.

This game was absolutely god tier in its glory days, sadly now every single event and unit is literally the exact same with minimal differences and the game is still trying to fix the design problems it created for itself with units like Myrtle and Surtr being basically the cornerstones that keep this game playable. With time it really loses it's fun and you realize there's only so much you can take of playing 1-7 on repeat forever.

BANGER alert
Banger gameplay AND story, name another gacha game that does that weebs.

been a minute since I've played any tower defense games. This one seems pretty good so far

Honestly, very refreshing seeing a gacha with "original" gameplay

lonetrail is the best story ive ever read in a mobile game. im speechless

The extreme and miserable level of grinding the game forces you to do just to raise ONE operator knocks it an entire star grade down. This game suffers from artificial longevity.

It's so hard for me to get into. I WANT to get into it especially to read the story and actually see the art and designs in game but augh. There's so much and it's overwhelming. I think I've tried 3 or 4 times, might try to get into it again as per usual.

Probably the best gacha game out there, for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, the game itself isn't being hard on the player for not having enough units: a lot of newer players tend to invest in 5 or 6 stars operators despite not having enough resources to make them grow, while most 4 stars in half the resources do the same job. The difficulty of the game lies in solving the tower defense sections and applying different strategies, some stages can be solved with your usual team, but sometimes one has to be creative and try different classes.

Secondly, the game is a blast to play. Its UI is crisp, clear, the player has a lot of content to get through and nothing is paywalled: you get to it when you get to it. With the best pity rate and recurring events you can easily get the operators you want for your team. Not only that, but the lore bits and writing are top notch, with some tone deaf examples here and there of overexposing. There are websites where one can read the story bits, and I recommend it for a simple reason: sometimes our brains have a symptom called mucho texto, and Arknights can be guilty of causing it at times.

I vividly remember falling asleep while I was "playing" Arknights. But the music is great, the gameplay is getting more and more polished with the years, the characters are loveable and the story is getting somewhere soonish. I simply cannot play too much of it or it'll cut time I have for other games and God forbid I play Arknights and FFXIV together.

This game is phenomenal. I've never played anything like it

the paragraph long monologues on the human condition are good, actually

I have played this game for almost a whole year now and I can confidently give this the highest reward any live-service, predatory, FOMO abusing game can get.

Hoping someday the game can die and have a version of it made without any of the bullshit attached to it.

This is possibly the most forgiving Gacha game I have played. It has no reason to have such an amazing soundtrack but, it does.

Amazing story, incredible characters, wonderful music.

Good game with balanced gacha, Great artwork, TD gameplay, and wonderful VAs. Quitted on June 20 2023 and sold my account
