An aesthetically bland but tightly designed shmup with a ton of wacky shot types to play around with. CS2 is not very fun to complete for survival, but the scoring system is wonderful. There are many shmups I'd rather play right now, but I have a feeling that this one hits different for veterans who like learning quirky playstyles and earning massive scores.

My god does this game rock. 7 (+1) playable characters with 2 modes and each plays like a shmup of it's own. each level and boss feels varied as hell. it really hit me when i was playing Tetris against a mid boss on one of the stages. it has bullet grazing too and it's not just a score thing since your bullets get faster and stronger when grazing. personally not too fond of 3d visuals on shmups but that's basically a nitpick for such a game.
