Being the second of the Gold Box games, it carries over a fair bit from Pool of Radiance, but also adds some new classes and quality of life improvements over the first. The story again is merely serviceable here.

It is better than its predecessor and shows how fast tech was progressing back then. A lot fewer stupid encounters like 50 kobolds and no level drain. Still has the terrible burial glade area where every enemy can either poison or paralyze. Which are both certain death.

This is better than Pool of Radiance and you can't convince me otherwise.
