It’s cute! Definitely a mobile game worth a play that’s not too trigger heavy with any of the things that the genre is known for, it’s got great dialogue and a fun artstyle. The last world is pretty frustrating and the bosses aren’t anything to write home about but on the whole a fun experience

Funny. Let's just chill and solve some puzzles to save our kids.

pretty regular platformer, doesn't stand out much but it was fun

A fun platformer that has surprisingly good level design. Props for it being mainly done by one primary dev, and the dialogue is short, simply, witty, and honestly charming. The level design can get a bit jarring towards the end, and the lack of checkpoints in some stages does give a bit of grief, but it's not overly frustrating - moreso just inconvenient.

um puzzle plataformer legalzinho, não tenho muito oq falar, um bom jogo pra se jogar num domingo lol

simple little platformer, sassy little root vegetables

I've lost hearing in my right ear (hopefully temporarily) and I couldn't get a doctors apointment until June 13th (a month from when I wrote this) so I'm currently playing shorter games where sound doesn't really matter so much (in a sense that there's no real plot or voiced dialogue)

This is a pretty simple precision platformer with unlimited lives, but it never gets as difficult as other games of this type (I still died a fair amount towards the end, but it wasn't in a "I want to throw my controller out the window" kind of way) It's also suprisingly funny.

I feel like with games like this, people will just automatically ignore it since it's cheap and was originally a mobile game, but mobile games aren't inherently bad once ported to systems with actual buttons instead of touch screen controls.

It's pretty short too, depending on how bad you are at platformers, but it goes on sale for less than £2 all the time.

so get this, he's a dad who is a RADISH, funniest shit i've ever seen, and the you go on adventures as your dad-radish, dadish if you will, and you save funny children who do funnies, AMAZING

I really liked the 16-bit style. Really fun platforming and I like the funny jokes at the end of each level.

A great 'palate cleanser' type of indie platformer game that features basic (but precise) controls and a simple level design that only escalates in difficulty in a few levels towards the end of the game.

Dadish is a fairly simple platformer but does provide a good time and for the low price of admission (it can be bought for under a dollar when the game is on sale), you really can't go wrong with this game if you are into side-scrolling platforming games. The game takes inspiration from Mario games in terms of looks/feel but does feature a double jump mechanic which is fun to use in order to adjust jumps between platforms and obstacles.

a funny man would call it game of the year but he wouldn't be making a joke then.

bought on switch for 79 great british pence and a surprisingly great 4hr's of gametime with a few infuriating end level missions. difficulty isn't crazy but i appreciate how simple the game is both in purpose , function , artstyle and controls. also humour was really great , I like the bit where his son asks him for taco bell after he nearly died of heat exhaustion. 8/10.

You know other than some frustration with the WIDENESS of dadish. It had solid platforming, and gave me a good laugh.

Adorable.

This game isn't deep or complicated.

Just a good time.

Fun and charming little platformer.

Sometimes all you need is a simple basic cheap platformer and this accomplishes that perfectly. Good time waster for an hour.

Eu tava procurando um joguinho mobile para jogar um pouco,e esse jogo é bom .Divertido ,mas nada super incrível. Tirando o trocadilho no nome

Short fun platformer with some genuinely funny writing at times. I'll never get used to platformers without run buttons however lol. Pretty good level design and vibes.

simple platformer that makes me unexplainably happy for some reason. Has surprisingly witty dialogue for a game that doesn't really feel like it needs it.

I loved this game! The platforming in the final world is genuinely hard and builds up well, the dialogue is very funny and so charming. The music and art in this game is really nice, and I love the way Dadish and his children fly off at the end of every level. Also, the possum was genuinely hilarious and a great addition.

The enemy types were interesting but I was waiting for another one to be introduced, and the final boss was mega ugly. The bosses in general are the worst part about this game: either incredibly easy or annoyingly finicky, and they're all essentially the same. I liked this game a lot though, and it's completely free! I'm definitely playing Dadish 2! 😊

Where it Shines:
Cuteness - 7/10
Humour - 6/10
The Good:
It's very cute, has decent jokes, and is a short playthrough. All those things work in it's favour.
The Bad:
It's not a bad game, it doesn't overstay it's welcome, and for a game made by one duded, it's quite good. But if you're expecting GOTY material from this, you're looking in the wrong place. The platforming is fine, not too hard or difficult, but it can be very basic at times. Considering the whole game is platforming, it really should be shining rather than just "okay".
Summary:
If you manage your expectations and just want a quick game to try that's clearly got a lot love behind it, Dadish may be for you. But you're not missing out on anything by skipping this one.

****note on my ratings:
half ⭐: hot trash garbage

⭐⭐: average
⭐⭐⭐: pretty good
⭐⭐⭐⭐: excellent
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: all time favourite
half star ratings between those mean it's slightly better or worse than stated in this list.

A fun little platformer I got at a heavy discount. The controls are nice and meaty, and the stars were mostly all fun to collect. I can't say I enjoyed the mushroom levels too much, the bounces felt a bit too unpredictable for my taste.
One thing that particularly amused me about this game was how much the creator blantantly, yet lovingly, incorporated from other games. Yes, I noticed the Kirby's Adventure clouds in the background, and the Mario sound effects, and what I'm sure were instruments from the DKC games in the background of the mountain levels. Overall it creates a charming little package, though it isn't one I think is worth the full $10 asking price on the Switch. Get it on sale and it makes a fine way to whittle away an afternoon.

Pretty quick and easy to lightly challenging platformer. Played it over the course of a couple days at work when I needed a breather.

You get a cute bit of conversation between Dadish and childish at the end of every level and almost every level has one star you can grab to unlock a cosmetic at the end if you get them all.

A nice little 2D platformer. While there are ads on iOS and Android version, there really isn’t a crazy amount of them, so I don’t mind an occasional ad. Some levels were somewhat challenge, especially when going for all the stars in each level.

If you want a free 2D platformer on mobile to pass the time, this is a good option.

Gets pretty hard pretty fast but not ridiculously hard. Most deaths do feel like they're on me, but there are some instances where I felt like it was the game's fault. Confusing hitboxes, non-existent attack patterns of a certain boss, and the high speeds of the mushroom levels felt unfair -- less like a platform game and more like lucky draw. But a very cute game with good music and fun platforming.

Edit: I'm deciding to put this game away for now on the basis that break is over soon and I'm going to be busy again, so instead of dedicating lots of time to one game that I pretty much get the gist of, I'm gonna spend that time checking out new games. I just don't have time for super hard precision platformers rn. Shelved at level 5-1.

About as straightforward as it gets. It's a platformer with a few dozen self-contained levels organized into four worlds, with four jumping bosses. There are sawblades, keys, stars to grab for a little extra challenge, etc. This game could easily be a Super Mario World mod. The special ingredient is how well it sticks to simple left-right movement controls and a double jump. That focus helps keep the game moving into the dad jokes at the end of each level.

Dadish is a cute platformer about a radish who needs to rescue his many escaped radish children from danger. And much like its simple lot, the gameplay is also very simple. You can double jump. That's it. Pushing boxes and switches while avoiding obstacles is all there is to the game. While the game introduces a suprising amount of challenge in its later levels, if you are expecting anything other than a casual, but tight platforming experience, this is not it. That said, the game is a lot of fun. Every level ends with a dad joke or quip from Dadish's kids, which always made me chuckle. While every one of these is unique, I wish there were more variety in enemy and level designs to break up the monotony of the stages. Contributing to the repetitiveness, the music stays mostly one-note for each world, and I ended up muting the game to listen to something else as I played it. A hidden collectible star serves as a harder objective in every level, but fails to have any purpose for the end of the game. Additionally, a world map allows you to retread old levels, but there is no world select, so you must manually move between the 50 levels in the game. Dadish is a silly platformer that scratched an itch for something new to play. Come in expecting a solid platformer with some funny dialogue and you'll come away having a good time.

No I didn't finish this game but is funni hehe
