Owned it on the Wii, never finished it. Got it on pc, never finished it. I decided to finally push though and beat it. Solid game, visual are nice, and the ost is one of the best I’ve ever heard. My major problem with the game is that each level is at least an hour long, there no save points or stopping, you have to commit to playing the entire level for the full hour while on a semi-strict timer. Overall it’s very solid and I have fond memories of it on the Wii
Blissful is one is the most beautiful songs i've heard in a video game. Easily in my top 5 favorite sounds pieces, not even kidding it's that good. Also the fact that your color changes the tempo of the music is such a cool detail. This isn't about the game, but the music is absolutely incredible. So underrated.
Fun for the first half hour but then each level keeps going and going and going...until you've spent hours collecting stuff and the level exit has been sat waiting for you the whole time.
Back when I originally had this on the Wii, I did really like the aesthetic of painting everything different colours while jazzy music plays in the background, but then Splatoon did it so much better that now I can't go back to this.
A great example of a game with far too much content for each level, resulting in collectible hell. It therefore manages to be the polar opposite of Spirit of the North.
