You definitely want to play this in co-op, just make sure your teammates don't hoard the key items without telling you. The puzzles are a good difficulty, but does require you to have good game sense. Not that I would expect it, but there is almost no replay value besides trying to get all the tokens hidden throughout the levels.
It's fine, it does exactly what it tries to do without any interesting twist. Some puzzle rooms are good, but some of them are total nonsense and badly designed. The art style is just too plain to be any interesting, although there are few rooms that look good. Two of the themes are really good and interesting (Egyptian and Victorian era) while the other two are really boring (Megacorp and Space).
Like I said, it's fine. I got bored halfway through the game, but I played the two least interesting themes last so that might be the reason. Also, I played alone, maybe it is better with more people but I doubt that there will be much difference. I’m giving it 6/10, it was a really mixed experience.

Escape Simulator is honestly one of the most fun coop experiences I've ever had. It feels almost identical to real life escape rooms, with a lot of original ideas and themes. Some puzzles and the time given to complete them can be much more difficult than others, but that did not get in the way of having a good time.
The only thing that did get in the way of a good time were the tokens. Some of them are hidden in the weirdest and hardest to reach spots, to the point where some of them can only be accessed before or after a puzzle completion, making it possible to completely miss them.
The final aspect that makes this game so good is the fact that you can create your own rooms and play rooms of others. The developers even award specific rooms a "best of 20-something" title, so the greatest custom escapes can be easily found and played.
I highly recommend playing this with a friend or spouse, because some puzzles are designed to feel more accessible with cooperation, and the clunky character models are really funny to mess around with.

Fun to play with friends, with puzzles that are engaging and difficult. Sometimes difficulty can progress into tediousness and levels can become annoying to complete. No replayability for past levels but DLCs and free updates are still being produced. Enjoyable to play from time-to-time, but not much else can be said.
Been waiting for a good escape simulator game to play online with long distance friends and partners so once this came out, I found the mechanics and puzzles fun, challenging. Their regular updates keep fresh content rolling in and I think community members are able to make their own rooms as well, although those get a little buggy sometimes
Definitely worth a try

A fun and engaging Escape Room Simulator, as the name would imply. I played through all the core rooms and found them to be pretty solid in terms of fun and difficulty. Certain puzzles made sense, while others made me think outside the box and question my own sanity at times. Looking forward to returning to this at some point to try the new rooms as they are added.
