unironically the best few weeks of the whole year

The gameplay felt more involved, despite not having a quarter of what they've got now. I'll give two billion vbucks to make this permanent.

people who hated this season dont like fun

Those who hate this season just hate fun

I'm retroactively reviewing past seasons after finishing C5S1.

C4S:OG was massively okay. Was it cool to play on the fabled original island, I only briefly played on before? yeah! but as a one month rush to blast thru a battle pass, I dunno. I only really cared for the Lynx/Renegade mashup, in the pass, but Raven Team Leader, from the shop, will be a consistent equip for me.

also, the original loot pool is boring af.

Also, also: a bit disappointed they have decided to end/reset the storyline via some audio logs in here. Like, the Lore was a mess, Donald Mustard was leaving, so yeah I'm sure it had to happen somewhere, but I'll miss the unnecessaryly complex non-story that was the Zero Point saga.

I had a good time, but the prospect of them ending each chapter with an "OG" season is kinda lame. I guess as long as they let me go back to the Chapter 2 island at some point.

This is the worst season ngl. Absolute dogshit map with barely anything on it. Visually ugly as shit. One of the weakest battle passes in the entire series. Finished all off by a giant event that thousands of people couldn't get into that they had to repeat 3 times. This sucked.

I'm gonna make a lot of Fortnite-heads mad with this but this was not good. Here's the thing, people never understand what they have nostalgia for. You don't miss Fortnite in 2017, you miss 2017. You miss playing with your friends and how hot the game was. It was such a global event. The game has evolved so much past that point. And the only thing they captured is how shallow the OG Fortnite BR was. Because it wasn't built for Battle Royale, but the team is so phenomenal that they built THE definitive battle royale. I guess it captured they scale of the phenomenon again because this season brought record player numbers and led into their whole rollout for the Fortnite off shoot games but outside of that, I was so bummed when they said it was coming back after this because I really didn't enjoy playing OG Fortnite.

played all night solo to get enough vbucks from the battle pass to unlock bts dances. took like 12 hours lol

If this is what Fortnite was like for like two years, I’m glad to been busy being encased in concrete until Chapter Two when I was freed from my prison of construction composite

most fun I've had in gaming in months. all friends were back online and everyone was having a blast.

Amazing time, wasnt as good as og fornite obviously but memoris were created and this season re egnited my love for fornite although ive lost my spark for frotnite again with chapter 5.

Eu finalmente consegui jogar o Capítulo 1 quando essa temporada lançou. Um dos melhores passes de batalha, mapa divertido (poderia ter tido umas mudanças mais caóticas durante o mês) e armas simples porém boas de usar.

This season was mediocre to me. It undid a lot of progress in terms of Fortnite gameplay for the past few years just to nostalgiabait for the people obsessed with the "OG" era. I never had much attachment to Fortnite at this time (I started playing in Chapter 2), so the nostalgia really did not work on me. It took away swimming and fishing for some reason, undid the gold bars mechanic, and just overall stripped away good mechanics in order to appeal to a very loud section of the fanbase, which sucked to see as someone not a part of said section. The loot pool was alright, the map was ehhh, and just overall it reeked of cheapness and I did not appreciate the season very much. I know a lot of people loved this one, but for me I just could not get into it for the aforementioned reasons.

Instead of leaving a stupidly long review I'll just say that if you think this is special or the best experience in gaming I am sorry for you, there's a reason why the game evolved past all of what it is showcased in here.

They didn't do enough to make it feel like OG fortnite in loot pool and balance, but they also didn't do enough to make it feel new when they had plans to that were in the files.

feels good to be a gangster hmm hmm hmm

could have done way more, missed the first 4 seasons and many items, i hope OG 2024 will do what this season could not, also had a banger event

i thought this was gonna be like the coolest thing ever before playing it but it only reminded me why I hated fortnite so much in 2018

this shit's fuckin boring, later seasons do such a good job of having shit to do and cool locales to travel through when you're not fighting... early fortnite does not have these things. at least it'll be a separate mode when og next comes back

Fortnite Season OG was probably the most fun I've had with this game, coming back with friends near the end of Chapter 4 Season 4. Bringing back most the content from the days of Chapter 1 (and me getting an actual good pc) got me back into the groove of the game and has now got me playing on a regular basis.

It's still far from perfect. The map itself was very much not designed for Zero Build, and it really shows with how open the map can be. Even though zip-lines were put in certain areas, they really aren't all too helpful. Explosives were also pretty useless in Zero Build too.

Probably the best Fortnite has been since I played.

Chorei, e não consegui juntar o trio dos manos de antigamente, então chorei novamente
