genuinely lots of fun and really challenging
people shit on the visuals but i honestly love them, they make me feel comfy and safe...something about jank 3D visuals that look 10 years behind our generation get me acting that way
has cross play too, which fucking surprised me considering the small scale nature of this game, so if you have any friends without a PC its an option too

Pure doujin geemu soul. The gameplay is pretty fun as far as kart racers go but of course it can be pretty janky. There's so many turns to take that I couldn't get much use out of the more speedy characters and didn't switch characters too much unless their spellcard bar happened to be full on a straight road. Graphics are low quality but endearing. Story is super barebones but that's to be expected for a kart racer and the premise is super cute anyways. There was a weird VN-like segment at the start of the story that didn't get re-used at all later on and the characters just repeat what they say after that segment anyways so it feels like it was left in on accident. The music is great since it's 2hu. The controller and resolution configurations are terrible and better left alone.
One of my personal favorite "kart" racers on the market currently. A lot of very well designed courses that are a joy to traverse, and rewarding to those who take the time to master their shortcuts and utilizing characters and their special attributes to glide around the courses perfectly.
The wide variety of characters with different stats, handling, abilities, as well as the wide variety of actually skill based items just makes the game super rewarding and fun to play. Add a nice soundtrack and a dedicated community and you've got a based kart racer on your hands.

This game is really well made for what it is, and has a surprising amount of depth [and a pretty active competitive scene] if that's your sort of fancy.
I quite enjoy playing it with friends, and it's a very easy way to spend an afternoon. The storymode is a bit lacking, but I'm not really sure who'd buy a multiplayer kart racer for the story, anyway. [You do have to beat it to unlock all the characters, though.]
This game features a really fun mechanic where you pick two characters to play with different stats and abilities, and you can switch which character you're "driving" and which character you're "steering" with, so you can switch to what character better suits your needs at any given moment. [as you get the other character's stats when you swap] Additionally, you have the choice between both characters special abilities, which is fun!
I think my biggest wants from this game would be for them to add more maps, and maybe a few characters. At this time, it's unclear if the devs have completely stopped support on this game. But it seems likely.
Additionally, this game has a bit of a higher pricepoint for what it is, so I have to knock down a few points for that. It's good, but it can be hard to justify for those without a lot of money to spend.
All in all though, good game! If you're thinking of getting it for game night, I'd say go for it.

Racing game where you literally ride girls, incredible. It's like Double Dash but like actually good. Ok fair, this game does have a noticeable lack of polish. Character models and environments are pretty static, lacking the charm found in any Mario Kart game. But it controls well, the partner system actually matters compared to Double Dash and even drifting is better, despite the awkward button placement on Switch. And of course the music bangs.
Woah, Sanae is riding me!
It's cute and the Touhou racing is decent enough but while changing characters to change your cars is absolutely a step up from Mario Kart Double Dash it's not on par with say Mario Kart 8. Drifting doesn't do a whole lot I feel and your options for speed vs turning feel rather limited since courses with a lot of turns will make those faster characters useless as the car. Heck even Marisa was useless as the car in the final stage of the story.
It's a good concept and great for the doujin game that it is, but as a kart racer it needs a little more to truly excel.
