Immortals Fenyx Rising é uma aventura mitológica da Ubisoft que combina elementos de The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild com a aclamada franquia Assassin’s Creed. Vamos explorar os detalhes:

Pontos Positivos:

Falta de Originalidade: A inspiração em Zelda é evidente, o que pode não encantar tanto quem já jogou Breath of the Wild.

Jogos Semelhantes:

Duração do Jogo:
Extras: Aproximadamente 40 horas.
Completar Tudo: Mais de 60 horas.

Vale a Pena?
Sim!

I think a lot of people kinda wrote it off as another Ubisoft open-world checklist marathon, and with some good reasons: It's also not on Steam, like all the new ubisoft releases (leading to less exposure and/or the FUCKEPIC mindset), the name kinda sucks and it got changed after it's initial announcement, plus the late late 2020 release. Couple that with the turmoil at Ubi in general (horrible management and worker abuse) and i'm not surprised that it kinda went under the radar.

I just finished the game yesterday, after putting around 40ish hours into it, doing all the sidequests, and maxing out almost all my stats and skills. And I gotta say, it's a pretty good game.

I don't wanna do a full review or anything, but just to shine a light on a game that many people slept on and that clearly had a lot of love and passion put into it.

What I enjoyed Immortals and why I'd recommend it:

- It's pretty gorgeous and colorful all around, especially on PC or new consoles. Playing at 60fps really really makes a big difference for me personally, and I really enjoyed taking in the world, exploring, chilling.

- It takes some design ideas from Breath of the Wild, mixed with Ubisoft's approach to accessibility. So you get the big open world with lots of hidden nocks and crannies, but a bit of the icon barf of a regular Ubi game (though there are cool things to just discover, with no markers attached). You can climb everything and go almost anywhere, but there's less stuff to worry about (like temperature, rain during a big climb, weapon durability or inventory management).

- The combat is pretty good, "arcadey" and not as deep as some might like, but it looks cool, feels nice (especially when i compare it to the combat in the previous 3 Ass Creed games) and you get some of the BotW in there as well (enemies can hit eachother or can fall into pits/traps). If you're looking for deep combat then look somewhere else, but as a part of the game, it more than does the job (combined with puzzle-solving and exploration, that make up the other two thirds).

- A decent variety of things to do and see with useful or meaningful rewards for the most part (either resources you can use to upgrade your tools, or unique equipment that favors certain playstyles. no inventory trash to sort). There's a LOT of puzzle solving, most of it easy to medium-hard, with only a few few moments of frustration (there's some options to mitigate some of this).

- I really appreciate that they embraced (for the most part) the BotW ethos and the devs just let you break the game fairly often. I'm sure there were puzzles i solved in the not-intended-way or with brute force. There's still some restrictions (in the puzzle rooms especially), but still way more freedom than most open-world games. I'm sure speedruns for this game will become very entertaining (if they aren't already, haven't checked one out yet).

I've got some gripes as well, such as:

- The humor is VERY hit and miss, especially in the start. A lot of wink-wink references, modern jokes retrofitted, breaking the 4th wall, etc. But it's not all bad, and towards the end you get some decent character stuff, but the story was something to tolerate for the most part. If you want a great story in this milieu, then Hades is the way to go.

- The combat is ok, but it gets a bit repetitive. I enjoyed it on normal and it never became a slog (actually very easy after the midgame), so i don't think i'd recommend Hard, unless you really wanna get deep with the combo system (otherwise i suspect the enemies would get very spongey).

- Though it's not as full of meaningless activities as other games, it still feels a biiit bloated, especially if you wanna do everything or fill out the map. Not the biggest issue, but I would still cut like 25% of the chests in the world.

- The pacing cam suffer sometimes with too much puzzle-solving in one go. This might be on me, but i found some puzzle sections/shrines kinda long or tedious.

- Once the game is over, you can't continue exploring the world. Understandable with how the story ends, but a bit of a bummer cause i can see myself popping back in every now and then to get the platinum or something. Can still reload before the final stretch, but still worth mentioning.

Overall, I greatly enjoyed most of my time with Immortals Fenyx Rising, a more arcadey take on Zelda BotW, that gets rid of some of the tedium/bloat, refines a few ideas, adds some decent new ones, in a really colorful and vibrant world to explore. If i'd have to sum it up in one word, i'd say "breezy". If i had to give it a score, probably an 8/10 (on my personal scale of course). If you're looking for something easy to get into, a lovely world to explore and chill in, or maybe a BotW-like with more accessibility options (japan sadly lagging behind on this in many ways), then give Immortals a shot.

P.S. Before people crucify me, Zelda Breath of the Wild is an amazing game with some truly amazing ideas, but stumbles on some of the execution (again, this goes for me personally). This game is NOT a better BotW or a replacement, but it's clearly made by people who loved that game and wanted to put their own spin on it. If you bounced off BotW OR want something to scratch that itch, this is probably a decent bet.

Hypei tanto, quase comprei a versão full preço pra jogar por 15min e dropar kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Ainda bem que veio no catálogo

Not Funny: Didn't Laugh

I can hardly muster up the strength to review Immortals: Fenyx Rising. It's such an affront to every thing I deem "positive" within the history of gaming and the industry at large that it's honestly hard to narrow down in an honest and complete writeup. It's more Ubisoft garbage, meant in with full connotation of what such terminology in 2024 could possibly bring. Want your towers? You got it! Want your frivolous objectives to complete? You got it! Want your battle pass thrusted into your eyes at every conceivable moment (including completion of the game?) You got it!!!!!!!!! Hey and to chase that all down, we'll even include a faux mouse on the menu screen for controller instead of letting d pad select what you want... because why not!

Genuinely little to nothing about this game was good except for the fact that it was easy on the eyes? The terrain looked pretty swell, and the game ran crisply at high settings throughout... but man the world was lifeless and filled with nothing to interact with. I get that it's effectively the story driven playfield of Prometheus and Zeus as they telll the tale of your titular "hero," but the world felt pointless to explore. For a game that is as shamelessly a Breath of the Wild knockoff as Immortals, you'd think they'd have understood that part of what makes Zelda special (especially BotW) is that the world that is out there is teeming with life and fresh experiences to be had. You can find new villages with new NPC's that are sure to give you dialogue with sharp wit or humor along a hopefully interesting task. This title has none of that, it has vaults for you to complete... challenges for you to painstakingly comb through. Because why become inventive with your copycat title when you can simply become lazy?

I spoke briefly about the narration from the legendary titans in Zeus and Prometheus, and I'll warn the reader that this remains a constant throughout the entire game. From minute one to the end, these two narrate your every move and try their hardest to be "funny" the whole time. I won't try to argue that I know the complete definition of "humor," but the constant attempts at creating jokes and funny hee hee ha ha's wore thin as soon as it could. Again, the beauty of BotW and TotK lies within how many moments are spoken by the player's mind. The journey Link shapes as he explores Hyrule and takes in the sights and sounds of a boundless expanse lie ultimately in origin to the person guiding it. Immortals throws this all in the garbage, drives it to the incinerator, and turns the flames to their hottest temperature. No moment can be truly taken in by the player and enjoyed as is with the two speakers accompanying every single step.

I can't with good confidence recommend anyone play Immortals Fenyx Rising. This game isn't fun, it isn't funny, and it was surely a waste of the time and $6 spent on it.

I have to go on record and start by saying that this is not a game for adults. It seems in my opinion to be that someone at Ubisoft figured it would be fun to make Assassins Creed: Odyssey for kids. This makes sense when you consider the way in which it leans into a more cartoonish style (trying its very hardest to emulate Fortnite, in my opinion) and its groan-worthy, Marvel-movie-ass dialogue. It's combat has a touch of Dark Souls, and it's world interaction has a touch of Breath of the Wild, but it never felt to me worth putting in more than a few hours. I'm willing to concede the game is well made, but I'm not the type of person it was made for, nor am I willing to spend more time with it than I have.

Decently fun. If you are craving something after play BOTW and TOTK, this might crush that craving a bit.

Immortals Fenyx Rising gets often compared to the contemporary Zelda games: Breath of the Wild and later also Tears of the Kindgom, and that is also reason why I waited quite a while before picking it up, because I was afraid it was just a cheap clone. Now, for the positive, the game has a strong story to follow, a unique and humorous take on Greek epics. I can understand the humour may be a bit of hit and miss for many but I liked it in any case but ymmv. Now for the game itself, it is indeed quite similar to Breath of the Wild, open world, small quests and puzzles, small dungeon challenges etc. Unfortunately this comparison does weigh the game down on a bit, there's less npc's and less things to do than in Zelda, the battle system is a bit more complicated and clunky, the flying mechanics are slightly worse, the bow aiming is quite a bit worse, etc. etc. If I hadn't played Zelda before this it could have been half–one point better. Especially towards the end and last most difficult dungeons and challenges are going towards the fighting against poor controls and cameras in millisecond pixel perfect racing, rather than being well-made and fair challenges with multiple plausible solutions that we learnt to love in Zelda. That being said, definitely worth the time but not worth completing or extra dlc's in my opinion.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is your standard open world RPG. I love the world of this game the combat, enemies, bosses everything is great. Yes it's a "Zelda BOTW" clone, but you could say that about alot of games the released after it did. The DLC adds even more to with trials, and new world based off of Eastern Mythology and a whole new top down gameplay style.

86/100

Played it almost to the end of the main story but got bored after the repetitive tasks and combat. I think this type of games need to bring something fresh every once in a while, and I think that's what makes Zelda the Goat off the genre, and this one is just fun kinda in the begining. It has a cool storytelling idea, but the story is nothing out of this world. Its a...meh game, not bad by any means but not really that good to compete or try to resemble Zelda.

Es un Zelda Breath of the Wild con Assassin's Creed muy... medieval.

Odyssey if it was made to look like legend of zelda

What a boring game, one of the most boring I've ever seen, the hardest part of the game is getting through the beginning without sleeping

Imagine playing BOTW with constant snarky commentary.

M-m-m-mid. Just a BOTW ripoff that barely makes it. Full of micro transactions that are pushed in your face and the open world is barren as hell.

Surprisingly a decent game with fun combat and decent environments. Like others have said it does feel like BotW but at least this feels good compared to other clones. The humor was kinda mid and towards the end I lost interest but it's not a bad game if you get it cheap and nothing else to play.

eeehh...

Zelda BOTW for Greek mythology fans.
