Pretty nice little rpg maker horror game. I felt like it could use some polish in a few places, but I really liked the dialogue writing between the player character and the doctor. I do wonder how many of the choices I made affected the ending versus if they just existed for the sake of moment to moment gameplay.
this game came onto my radar because embry appeared on the fuckign mudae discord bot where after seeing their design I was like "god they're literally me minus the everything" and while I expected to maintain this assertion merely on their design, after completion I found acres of common ground with the main themes which I'm all too familiar with.
points docked for the jumpscares (while few) being very unnecessary and diverting attention away from scenes I otherwise found creepy.

It's a nice game to play. It takes about 30 minutes-1 hour to complete, and it only has one ending. It has an amazing story, really hard to understand at first. There are a lot of theories about this game and one of my favorites and the one that makes more sense is that this little kid named Embry is traumatized because of their parents death. So, he keeps feeding and feeding the non-existent monsters, that this monsters can represent guilt and depression, etc. Embry is a child who can't cope with the loss of his parents yet, so, maybe the sounds of those supposedly monsters are just their imagination.
