A bit on the easy side, but a fun time regardless. It really needs a sequel to hammer out some elements, like making the weapon power-ups relevant. More racing games need visual novel sequences tbh, even if they're sometimes a bit shallow it's good to have a reason to care about the race.

This is the best worst racing game I have ever played. I streamed myself playing this game to completion, and at one point it broke me because of how dumb the story gets. It just kept getting funnier and funnier.
If by any chance you see this game for $5 or less, I implore you to try it. It's trash but you won't have a bad time.

Wish this played as well as Wave Race. I like yuri so the cute interactions between the pairs are great even though I already saw the kandagawa team story in the anime. There's a surprising amount of care put into the presentation with some smooth menus, nice character models and soulful stages. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel good to play. It feels very slow and cornering feels clunky. The AI is absurdly easy for most stages to the point where I spend most of my gameplay not seeing other racers because I'm so far ahead which nullifies the combat aspect.
This is one of the worst games I have ever played, there is clearly only one selling point for it. The gameplay is atrocious, it doesn't feel fun to play with at all and it gets repetitive literally by the second race. The story does not exist and that automatically makes the already annoying characters boring to listen talk about the next thing that will happen in the most boring way possible. Nothing about this game is good, except maybe the fact that it could run decently on any computer.
Not what I expected in a racing game, and frustrating with the floaty controls at times, but STILL GREAT FUN. Get some friends together for this one.
Being someone who is both a fan of Senran Kagura and one who is interested in playing more games like Wave Race, I can't recommend this title. The Senran characters are DLC, the tracks are a bit too long, and the game has a janky feel to it. Most of the time I played it, I really just wanted to play Wave Race instead. The minigames were decent and the platinum trophy is pretty easy but those aspects are not enough to justify buying this.
Game has a surprising amount of production values for what it is and it gets by a lot on that. Good character designs, yuri is always good, and it actually looks pretty nice too. Unfortunately the game is held back by the gameplay feeling just so fuckin bad. It's slow, your turning is sluggish, and the speed of the game combined with the 30fps on PS4 just kills it. Might come back it it on PC to see if I can at least fix that last part and enjoy the story bits, but until then this is a big fat RIP on an otherwise fun idea for a game.
