Masterpiece in every way.

Killing Floor 2 is one of the best FPS games I have ever played. It is so simple yet so satisfying. You shoot monsters in a series of waves, fight a boss, choose a different map, rinse, and repeat. Still, it has a certain feel and atmosphere that keeps it fun to play.

Killing Floor 2 did go all out from the first game. There is a sh!t ton of content and improvements which keeps you playing. You got many different new classes, higher perk caps, many, many cosmetic items, new characters, new weapons while also staying true to the old school weapons from Killing Floor 1. The new perk bonuses are well balanced and thought out. After level 25, you feel that you can take on Hell on Earth difficulty, while in Killing Floor 1, this would be an impossible undertaking regardless of level and perks. The weapon buy menu’s have been upgraded, the “Auto fill” button is a gift from God and the overall design of the perk menus are better. You can now skip the trader when you are already done buying stuff which is also a huge improvement.

But by far, the best improvement is the server matchmaking and hosting. When you wanted to play a quick game on Killing Floor 1, you needed to port forward your IP in the router or modem and do a ton of sh!t to make it work. In Killing Floor 2, just create a party, invite, choose map and let’s kill some Zeds.

Killing Floor 2 also introduced loot boxes which I hate to the core in general. But here, they are easy to ignore and do not give you the feeling that you are a poor little sh!t who needs to grind his way trough ten thousand hours of game play to be as cool as the rich kids.

The graphics in Killing Floor 2 are still beautiful. The game is almost six years old now, but it still amazes me, and it is wonderful to look at. The levels all have a dark atmosphere and each one has a unique touch to it. The gore effects are nice, the limbs stay mostly on the ground and after a few waves of Zed’s, the ground is covered in red. It enhances the experience.

The soundtracks of this game are also amazing. I am a heavy metal fan so it could not go wrong from the beginning, but the music is just perfectly fitting. I think this is one of the reasons the game is still so much fun, the music hypes you up to start the next round and gives you the feeling you go to war again. The sound itself is also perfect, you hear the impact of the bullets, the popping of the heads and the destruction explosions cause, again enhancing the experience.

The controls have been greatly improved from Killing Floor 1 and feel one hundred percent fluent. The ability to run and perform melee attacks without selecting the knife are a huge improvement. Although Killing Floor 1 is the founder of the series of course, the controls there felt a little stiff. Still, if you did not know any better this would not be an issue.

Although the game is six years old, it still gets updated very much with new content. It shows the pride and dedication from Tripwire for this game.

What makes Killing Floor unique is the player base. It is still strong on PC and people really work together in a matter that amazes me if I compare it to other online shooters. It is crucial that people work together or else the game is over very quick.

There are some minor issues in my opinion like the load times to start the game or connect to a server, but this has been improved over the years. Although the constant updates of the game are nice, the fact that the game is now almost ninety gigabytes is a bit ridiculous.

In general, Killing Floor 2 is a huge, easy to learn game with tons of content, a brutal soundtrack, satisfying combat, fluent controls and a good player base that works together great in the game.

Definitely recommend this game!

Super fun especially with a large group on higher difficulties. Great if you love cooperative gorey multiplayer. Played for 4+ years.

Had a lot of fun with this one back in the day, got a little repetitive because i had no friends to play with

funny with friends, not playing it alone, tho

Não pegou tanto quanto o primeiro

Killing Floor 1 is so much better. I could write a small essay about my opinion on these two games, but this one was a huge disappointment.

Its launch was not disastrous but rather sloppy and forgettable. Over the years the amount of content Tripwire have added is enormous. Once in a while I kept coming back and the game always welcomed me to blast up more ZEDs. It has a loyal playerbase too.

Feels like classic cod zombies, love it

None of my friends will play with me

It's not high-brow art or whatever but it's the primo definition of a "turn your brain off" game. Something you feel like downloading and booting up to kill some time but then see this shit is 95GB despite playing like a 2010 wave shooter because they loaded it up with so many microtransactions it's breaking under its own weight. Still fun but I'm more than moderately concerned about the third one coming up.

Somehow worse dlc/microtransaction plan then the original KF but still fun

Gunplay and gameplay are great, the music rocks as well. Spend money now.

We played for 2 minutes with @Kosgee, a bizarre game, probably funny, but I don't want to play it at this time.

Don't mind if I do sips from the cup of tea

Played alone like 9h and still had a lot of fun, but better if u have friends. Doesn't feel too repetitive bc it has an exagerated quantity of maps and weapons, but there are too few enemies. Bosses are pretty alright and gunplay feels really good.

Took this game for free on EpicGames. It's a good game if don't have anything left to play on your list.

did not take me a lot of time to realize this was shit compared to the first one.

Très bonne BO Mauvaise opti.

The music is sick, you can turn off the vocals if you don't like metal and it's still bangin. Pretty fun especially with friends, but the xp system with leveling is horrendous, and the lootboxes make me sad.

A sequel to a great game but felt like it lacked the same impact and feeling of fun as the first.

Killing Floor 2 delivers a solid co-op shooter experience with intense, gory action that keeps you on your toes. The game excels in its cooperative gameplay and teamwork, providing an engaging and challenging environment for players to combat hordes of nightmarish Zeds. While it offers a satisfyingly gruesome and action-packed experience, it lacks the narrative depth and variety found in other shooters, which limits its long-term appeal. The graphics and sound design are commendable, adding to the game's immersion. However, the lack of a compelling story and a somewhat repetitive nature might not keep players engaged for extended periods. Nevertheless, if you're seeking a cooperative shooting experience with plenty of bloodshed, Killing Floor 2 is worth a try.

brainless fun until one day i logged on and literally all my items were gone? never logged back in after that

Difícil demais para minha capacidade cognitiva, mas o jogo é divertido.

PS.: Sem contar o fato de que os servidores LATAM são horríveis e com um ping desnecessariamente alto. Isso é triste.

Very competent zombie horde game, fun with friends and every class has decent mechanical depth to keep you engaged beyond spam clicking. Especially the melee powerhouse Berserker, my primary class of choice.

But progression is painfully slow, the gameplay is formulaic and repetitive by design, and if you like that, brilliant. There are definitely people who have an itch in their brain that this game scratches perfectly over the course of thousands of hours. It just never managed to capture me for long.
