King's Quest (2015)
Review Pt. 2 - Depressing Decisions in the Dark

After the bright wonderland that was Chapter 1 comes the most dreary and bleak episode of the King's Quest reboot. Graham has recently been crowned King, and under his new rule, the entirety of Daventry is kidnapped by goblins. You must escape incarceration and save as many of them as you can. This doesn't just mean jailbreaking them, you must also keep them alive while they suffer hunger, injury, and sickness.

Much like the first episode, this seems to foreshadow events in the future, but a lot that's built up here ultimately goes nowhere in later chapters. In short, don't agonize too much over choices here. Very little of it will affect anything in the long term.

All that being said, this isn't a bad chapter. Exploring the goblin caves is fun and mysterious, but you need to be aware of a Majora's Mask element here. There is limited time (in terms of days) that you can spend here, so if you don't do enough during the first day, there may not be enough time to save/help certain people by the end. If you're going to use a walkthrough for any of these five chapters, this is the one to do it on.
