The BEST LISA fangame. It's abit too easy in my opinion and I sorta wish there were more secret areas but this is a FANTASTIC game. A replay helped me better understand this game is awesome.

my fave fangame ever .. lowkey better than the og LMFAO

My spicy hot take is this fan game tackles toxic hypermasculinity and sexism way better than the original game, which is insane this is a free fangame, that frankly feels like a better written sequel than joyful does.

In this game you play as the weirdos trying to get the girl to "save humanity" but its clear that that really does seem like a excuse to justify all the murder and kidnapping that goes on in the world. my aforementioned issue with the original game is that it paints brad out to be this bad guy but in this your characters suffer from treating the supposed last woman as a savior or whatever fantasy you want.

even in the more fun light hearted secret pain mode route where you have a lot more party members and banter rather than tragedy, still doesn't reward the characters for doing the things they do "for the girl" all but one ending end like this and its the ending where the characters through tragedy realize this flaw, and the main antagonist represents this violent toxic masculinity the best.

the main party's dynamic in gameplay and story is great, it follows the traditional lisa combo system but minus the secret route in pain mode, it is just going to be the main three characters but luckily they balance eachother out in gameplay between damage, tanking, and support while feeling like a fair challenge, as for the character dynamics you how toxic masculinity doesn't let these characters really show how much they care for each other until its too late, its well written.

the game is a little bit more linear than painful or even what was in pointless that's not bad but I'm more surprised how much I actually feel I prefer painful' exploration and party members solely from a gameplay perspective, the writing in this is way better I will say the multiple routes does allows more replay value for what is quite a short game which isn't a complaint it is a free fangame after all as well as having the joy mechanic affect how certain routes play out as opposed to painful giving you extra dialogue and a end credits scene I didn't care for.

This game still has touchy subject matter but I feel for the most part it writes it better but its still a warning if you can't handle this stuff, I don't know if I could recommend it to people who have more of an issue with painful/joyful than I do but if what I say interests you I think its a really solid short story
(I am actually exited for the sequel)

Sacrifices the Painful's party member diversity for stronger characterization and succeeds at telling an emotionally engaging story within the Lisa universe. The combat is well-designed enough to not feel like a drag within the game's short run-time, and all of the charm and great music you'd expect from Lisa is present here. Honestly feels like an official product that innovates on the Painful in some meaningful ways, especially polish-wise.

Shout out to Benny Beltboy Oberwinch for

really well made and well written, even if the game is short you're still most likely going to grow attached to the characters. beltboy is so lovable

also worth playing twice for that one extra route with rodriguez.

LISA has spawned many fangames since its release back in 2014. in 2021 I would probably say that this is one of the only fangames worth playing, both as a fangame and on its own (and yes, I'm including Pointless in this assertation)

maybe I'm just biased towards road trip stories. but the interactions between Beltboy, Cyclops, and Lanks feel like they would slot right in to the world of Olathe, and the Lovelies are interesting. combat is still balanced and the world is just.... fun!! the multiple different endings help give perspective to each character as well, making them still feel real

Pain Mode and the Roddy route make this game even beefier than it already is for a fangame, too. I would absolutely recommend playing this if you're a fan of the original Painful game

holy shit i wanna like hopeful so bad but its so poorly balanced, you can get softlocked in so many areas and have to restart the entire ass game if you fuck up somewhere. the story, characters, and gameplay were awesome though, just wish it wasn't stuck behind such shitty balancing

Al nivel de los originales. Súper emotivo y con escenazas.

my personal favourite lisa fangame

Yeah this is just a straight-up LISA game. Like if the LISA guy sold this for the same price as LISA I'd be extremely happy with it because it's really good and pushes the formula forward in its own interesting ways. But it's a fangame, and it's free!

Why is a dumb guy in a motorbike so strong, I don't understand

My favorite LISA fan game. Hits hard

Aún siendo un fan-game, parece que está hecho por el mismo autor que los originales. Juegazo.

Not as good as og game but still kinda fun

I almost never restart a game right after beating it to get the other endings but I had to in this case. Granted, the game's length helps but goddamn this is my favourite Lisa fangame (Yes, better than The Pointless for now).

An awesome fan game with choices that actually change the outcome of the story and a lot of replay value, with multiple routes to play through and characters to recruit. Great soundtrack and story too.
