Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games delivers a solid, if somewhat unremarkable, party game experience. Featuring a roster of beloved characters and a variety of winter sports-themed events, it offers accessible fun for casual multiplayer sessions. However, the mini-games themselves can be simplistic or feel gimmicky due to the Wii's motion controls. While it boasts colorful visuals and a festive atmosphere, experienced players may find a lack of depth and replay value compared to other titles in the Mario & Sonic series.

Yeah, they kept making these, I guess they kept making money. I don't remember playing this one anywhere near as much as the original.

PEAK AND PEAK AT THE WINTER PEAk GAMES

How is it that playing Alpine Skiing is oddly relaxing, and in what universe can I get my hands on an endless runner version with pre-generated tracks ala Minecraft worlds?

Todos los juegos de deportes que tiene Mario están genial, y de paso están los personajes de Sonic por si te gustan. Tenía un montón de modos de juego y extras, pero los modos fantasía eran lo que hacía del juego un vicio

This is honestly a really fun game with a lot of similarities to Mario Kart Wii.

Massively underrated party game. Has a very solid roster, fun story mode, the sports themselves are a blast and has some of the best dream events in the series, party mode is fun with friends and family. Just a really solid party game for the wii.

This one is not only way better than the first game, but it may actually be one of the best games in this weird franchise, if not the best.

It is a pretty solid minigame collection with a lot of different Olympic events, plenty of replayability, a sort of story mode with lots of collectables and some legitimately great dream events with Mario and Sonic iconography and references to please fans of both franchises.

I particularly LOVED the dream figure skating event where you can play a Mario or Sonic themed performance, with Mario or Sonic music and set pieces. Perfect Chaos even shows up as an actual set piece / boss you have to defeat while figure skating, shit is insane.

If you are curious and have to play any of these games, I fully recommend this one over any of the other ones. It isn't a fantastic game or anything, but for what it is, it does a pretty good job imo.

i put an ungodly amount of hours into this shit

o único desta franquia que gosto. Adoro o modo história

Nostalgia AND good game? Heck yeah

the figure skating has my <3

Sharks are cold blooded therefore they cannot compete in the Olympics

Dude.....been so long I can't even accurately review the game I just remember malding and being happy 💀

One of the better entries in the series. A minigame collection at its core, the quality or lack of dream events are what makes or breaks these games and is why this title is still one of the ones worth a play.

Otro juego que recuerdo con cariño, de pana me gustaria jugarlo con weyes algun dia

Nostalgic af, still fun to this day with friends.

During 3rd grade, I visited a friend's house and sat down to play it with him for a little while. Haven't played the game since, and don't intend to do so again.

le seul jeu de sport que j'aime (avec wii sport)

Getting into Top 10 World Record in Dream Short Track felt like a huge accomplishment when i was a 8 year old kid

This becoming a biannual series for a decade perfectly encapsulates the weird place these franchises were during the mid to late 2000s, and in Sonic's case, I really miss that weird side of the franchise; it slowly fading away during each of the later Olympic releases.

unironically kinda good?! builds on top of the original instalment in the trilogy by expanding upon the characters and world of the original. a technical marvel, the designs of the set pieces exemplify the themes of the original perfectly. these themes are then built on top of but also challenged through the dream events. the original games philosophy vs this one's critique is one that i think about daily and apply to my life. while it somewhat lacks the intense gameplay of the original, the game more than makes up for that in SOUL. these are my favourite iterations of these characters and the game enables them to breathe and simply exist in this world.

Me and my siblings were glued to this thing for years man. This shit was fire.

Ils ont pas froids les persos genre?
