DK Mountain is the best track in any cart racer.

this was the first game I ever played :)

el mejor mario kart anashe

wheres the luigi and peach sex scene?

Não gosto de como esse jogo controla e nem da gimmick de duo, mas ainda tem todo charme de um jogo mario como sempre

6/10

Double Dash deserves some respect if only for the fact that no other Mario Kart game (the arcade games notwithstanding) has tried to shake up the formula like this. It has some absolute banger tracks, too, even if there are only 16 of them. Plus, I really like that slide you can do while you're in the back. That one's fun.

découvert sans nostalgie est j"ai adorer

This might be my biggest gaming hot take ever, but this is the weakest 3D Mario Kart. The controls are awful and slippery, the track selection is pretty weak (more bad or forgettable tracks than good ones imo), the two racer/two item system isn't nearly as mind-blowing as people make it seem, item balancing is WORSE than Wii and makes playing through the single player a SLOG, the graphics don't look great (sometimes people say Wii looks worse but I disagree), Toad is an unlockable character for some reason...okay maybe that last one isn't that important but it's just stupid.

It's still Mario Kart, so it's still mostly fun, but I think I'd rather play any Mario Kart except Super Mario Kart before it (yes that includes Super Circuit that game is slept on fight me)

Also FUCK this game's rainbow road especially that part with the upward spiral where the camera gets all wonky. I played this game like 10 hours so I could give it a "fair" review and I don't think I drove on that thing without falling off at least once.

So in conclusion DOUBLE DASH SUUCKSSSS LOL stay mad

Double Dash is awesome. I'm not as good at it as I'd like to be, especially when compared to other MK games, but it's still a dang good time. Having two characters on a kart was a super cool idea that I'm honestly surprised hasn't been revisited since, even as a side mode. Having two characters essentially means two items at once that you can choose between, adding a nifty layer of strategy to the mix.

The 2 seater gimmick never really sold me but mechanically it's one of the best. Forever wishing I had been able to play this on LAN 😔

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! delivers a frantic, chaotic, and undeniably fun twist on the classic kart racing formula. Its defining feature is the two-person kart system, allowing you and a partner to swap driving and item-slinging roles mid-race. The result is hilariously unpredictable multiplayer mayhem, while solo play offers a stiff challenge with unique special items for each character duo. While some may find the controls a bit slippery, Double Dash!! stands out for its innovative gameplay and memorable track designs.

honestly more chaotic than I remember, the music and character animations were the best in the series up until MK8D. super fun to 100% and playing co-op in the same kart was a genius design decision

The most unhinged entry in the whole series. Great for couch multiplier given how hectic it very quickly gets, but not one I personally return to that often.

arguably the best racer of all time (must have a friend)

This is a game I need to play more of. I only have memories of it with my family when I was young but even then the Dual Driver mechanic didn't quite leave an impact as I thought. The courses are some of the most memorable in the series though!

This is one of the better Mario Kart entries, maybe top three. This is the best two player entry in the series for sure. I play Mario Kart largely as a party game but sometimes as a way to chill out and do something mindless in single player. But between solo play and large group play you have duo play which, in my opinion, is an underrated way to play the game. And it's duo play that Double Dash is best at. There's not a ton the player in the back absolutely needs to do but there's mechanics they can take advantage of to give you an edge. Likewise if you're in the front there's a few jobs you would normally have to worry about that the rear player can handle.

The single player is pretty close to middle of the road. Only four cups isn't fantastic but this is the first Mario Kart game that lets you unlock stuff, so there is that. It's also the first Mario Kart game where you can unlock vehicles. Those mechanics both came back but the cooperative driving never has, which is a bummer.

Playing with big groups can be fun but it's sort of hard to pull off compared to the other entries. It's really just a good game for you and one close homie. We'd sit out in the summer time sipping Faygo and blasting nu-metal while trying to beat the AI for hours. That's what Double Dash is all about.

when i was a kid my parents would put me in this daycare while they worked out at the gym and they had a gamecube and when i played the battle mode against this other little girl she was winning so i got really mad and threw a temper tantrum and it's startling how little i've changed in the last decade

This was my first experience with a Mario Kart game

8 wishes it was this good

Insanely fun MarioKart with a unique mechanic that I feel can only be imitated, but never replicated again. Only downside to the game is it's lackluster tracklist compared to modern games in the series. Thankfully, each track is unique and fun, exploring vibrant areas of the Mario world. Overall amazing game.
