Gracias Capcom 😀👍

Much like the previous one, Mega Man Star Force 2 is to Battle Network what .hack G.U. was to the original .hack: A long-winded, hokey and incredibly boring counterpart. Several new additions are not only trivial (star/wave command cards) but also seem a bit too familiar (job quests and equip-able buffs a la BN's Navi Customizer), while its lazy and predictable dungeons are further sabotaged by an annoying encounter rate.

Imagine following up a great game by doing the opposite of everything that worked. Vista Point? School? Nah, those important plot beats just don't exist anymore. Constellations? Space? Nah, here's some cheesy... I don't even know what to describe it. But cramming dinosaurs, ninjas, the abominable freaking snowman into a game, it's just dumb. That's the most concise way to describe this game. Dumb. And while you're at it, he's a broken encounter rate. But hey, Rogue is pretty cool.
I have played this game since I got it in the hopes of trying to 100% it and I was thankfully able to do it a few years back! Love it to death despite it not being the best of the trilogy. The multiplayer is so fun! I was lucky enough to have a sibling with the other version and we fought each other quite often. Cool battles and transformations! Music is great! Random encounters happen a bit too much at times but getting cloakers removes this issue thankfully. Hoping Capcom releases a collection one day!
Main story was actually shorter than the first game, I was really confused when the main villain showed up and that was it, I think the post-game is even bigger than the main game haha, but still a really great game, not a perfect sequel but I had a really good time playing it, the not DX patch actually makes the post game doors completely available and you can get Tribe King after finishing the main game since it gives you access to 2 exclusive brotherbands with Saurian/Ninja brothers.
