Achei as lutas bem frenéticas.

Mortal Kombat XL is a great fighting game when it comes to characters and abilities, I was never into the MK story because the other MK games that I played was 1,2,4 and 11.
Gameplay the game takes into 12 chapters with different arenas and locations, here you are gonna find iconic characters from the retro arcade ones but with different changes, you get a lot of combos and character unlockables and you can actually make a faction. It also has multiple gamemods to play around and the XL edition can be found fairly cheap on 3rd party sites for extra DLCs.
Story again, the cutscenes were cool but if you want a good MK when it comes to story you could play deadly alliance, it's a short game if you want to binge it in one day. but the story in MK10 takes place 25 years after MK9 and it's mainly focused on Shinnok and Quan Chi as antagonists.
Bonus I watched the MK movies but they are not canon in this timeline so yeah, the first MK movie is more related to the older games about Liu-Kang fighting his way out to avenge his younger brother by defending Shang Tsung, never watched documentaries about the new lore in the new universe with the revenants because I found it to be boring.

Ah, the story mode retcons in "Mortal Kombat X" – they're a bit of a mixed bag, aren't they? While some fans appreciate the fresh twists and turns they bring to the narrative, others can't help but feel a bit... conflicted.
On one hand, the retcons add new layers of depth to the lore, exploring different character dynamics and expanding on the universe in unexpected ways. But on the other hand, they can sometimes feel like a departure from the established continuity, leaving longtime fans scratching their heads and wondering what happened to the story they knew and loved.
But hey, that's the thing about retcons – they're a double-edged sword. While they can breathe new life into a franchise, they can also ruffle a few feathers along the way. It's all part of the ever-evolving nature of storytelling in video games.
At the end of the day, whether you love 'em or hate 'em, the retcons in "Mortal Kombat X" are just one small part of the overall experience. And hey, if they're not your cup of tea, there's always the option to skip past the story mode and dive straight into the heart-pounding action of the gameplay. After all, isn't that what Mortal Kombat is all about?

The story mode is a lot of what one would hope for from a Mortal Kombat campaign. It's pretty ridiculous and there's some really awesome moments for a lot of great characters of the franchise. That said, it's not as satisfying as 11's story. Most character arcs are left almost entirely unresolved with Sonya Blade being the really only one that feels satisfying, and the combat's a little slower and heavier than I prefer - it feels closer to an Injustice game than the type of MK that I like. Not to say it's not fun though. The loadouts and cosmetics are great, and it's a FANTASTIC roster with some really great DLC characters.
