Out of all the MK games I've played this one is my favorite, (granted I've only played 2 and the other one is MK11 but still).
The game controls pretty good as a fighting game should, the story mode is fffffffffiiiiinnneee I guess it's not MK11 which makes it automatically better, and I think it has much better DLC fighters to offer, I feel like slasher movie villains work better for MK fighter than someone like The Joker.
I still prefer Smash Bros but this is fun when I have friends over, which is never.................... :(

I recently got back to playing after a year without playing and a year of playing only 11 and it was much better than I expected.
The fatalities are still very good, and the combat and xrays are still a lot of fun, although I find this game's combat much harder than 11. The story is total shit, an eye-burning shear from start to finish and there's also this colorless and boring filter that I never understood why, I'm grateful every day that on 11 they stopped it and the game is alive and colorful.

The classic Mortal Kombat reaches in this edition, both graphically and, above all, playable, brutal optimization levels. The combat system is very elaborate and the movements are forceful but fluid. It also includes several different fighting styles and various costumes, which multiplies the playable possibilities of the already extensive catalog of characters, including all the DLCs available in its XL version.
The best Mk with the best fighting systems with styles for each character giving the player limitless variety. The graphics and atmosphere are fantastic and while the story is iffy at best, some of the new characters define the new MK generation. The DLC characters add so much to the roster and makes it one of the best rosters in history.
