The game seems interesting to me, maybe I'm discouraged that the matchmaking is bad (due to the few players that there are or at least that seemed to me), it matches you with people of higher level, it may seem like an excuse.
But for someone who is just starting in the game and you get players who have more time in the game, and more experience with the weapons, it is good that they have people with experience but if the pairing is like that, it leaves you little room to learn to play.
You are just appearing on the map and already you get one to hit you and rotate around the map with skills and so on, it's good you are forced to learn under pressure, but the gaming experience becomes absurd when you get more people and between 3 hit you in a single player game.
As for characters and scenarios I loved it.
And the mobility, weapons and others, I found very good, a game that with more people and better pairing would be fantastic.
but right now (29/Feb/24), the game matches you with more experienced people with the game modes.
I give it an 8/10
and I hope to come back, if the game improves the matchmaking and you gain more community.

Honestly, it's a relatively fun wuxia BR that was let down by incredibly heinous monetization, poor balancing, and the emergence of tons of advanced techniques that turned a steep learning curve into the equivalent of trying to free solo El Cap. I think it's fun to play every once in a while, but unless you have a vested interest in melee BRs you can probably pass this one up.
Love it when it works, tiring to play too many games in a row, nails the “I have a crush on these characters” vibe all these games need

This game is better than Apex in my opinion, because of all the unique weapons, and customizations they have to offer. I honestly think this game is really neat and engaging. I'm not obsessed with it however, which is why i shelved it for now, but its a game i sometimes like to come back to. Id play it more, but the learning curve for this game is insane. There's too many things to remember/learn, and my small brain cant comprehend it all at once
After playing battle royales for 6+ years, I never thought I'd be hooked as strongly as I was when I first started Naraka. What makes this game unique when comparing to other BR's is the traditional style of melee combat you get when playing. Aside from the combat, Naraka's most gameplay-defining feature is its fast-paced movement, thanks to its plentiful dashes and grappling hooks. I've always been addicted to FPS's, with there being a few exceptions, namely H1Z1 and Fortnite. I feel as if I'm predisposed to favoring FPSs so I was surprised when I became so addicted to one that wasn't. Highly recommend trying this one out. I'm giving naraka a 8.5/10 due to the mega OP bloodrippers weapon that don't always spawn and the late-late game intensity isn't as high when the circle simply closes. Maybe they can try introducing new concepts into the game such as a moving zone, when it gets to a certain size? One thing I hope to see changed is that this BR is $19.99. I believe they need to hop on the free game with micro transactions wave. CoD, Battlefield, Halo, and more have already done this. If anything, you could purchase it and refund within 2 hours of playtime if you dislike it. My second favourite BR, and the highest skill ceiling title within the genre.

Best Battle Royale I ever played
super wonky and really dumb but it's pretty damn good especially for a battle royale
its like elden ring ghost of tsushima last of us witcher 3 breath of the wild if it was one game
To be honest , at the beggining in the tutorial i was so excited, such a good graphics , free game and the combat wasnt even that bad. The thing is, right after u finish tutorial and try to actually play, nobody will be there to play with. I played many games just alone and then i gave up. Maybe if it was more popular ?
Definitely recommend this game for anyone who loves melee close combat. I have played other BR games and I didn't like any of them but I love this one. Super fun combat and gameplay, beautiful world, beautiful girls, amazing weapon animations, what more do you need from a game like this. The only complaint I have is the aggressive micro transactions on the skins which is really greedy and annoying.
Oynamak için çok fazla zamanım olmadı ama oynayabildiğim bu kısa süre içerisinde inanılmaz hoşuma gitti. Battle Royale mantığı ile gayet güzel birleştirilmiş bir oyun. Yakın ve menzilli silah çeşitli , farklı farklı kombolar , her karakterin kendine has yetenekleri . Oyun gayet başarılı , zamanım olduğunda tekrardan oturup uzun uzun oynayacağım oyunların başında gelir.
Another fun but failed summer game
One of the highest skill games out there with the flexibility to be as creative as you want with your movement/combos. There is no "sure fire way" to win as you can utilize so many different abilities, ultimates, movement mechanics, combos, weapons, and soul jades to get a competitive advantage over your opponent dependent on the situation. This game will knock you on your ass constantly no matter how good you are. The question is... Are you ready for the challenge? Or are you just not good?
Un bon battle royal avec un style assez travailler et bien a lui. La customisation de personnage est très cool et leur habilité sont sympathique et ne donne pas d'énorme aventage sur tes enemies. Néanmoins il y a un manque de diversité d'arme pour un battle royal.
Je ne sais vraiment pas quoi en pensé en soit c'est assez innovant pour un Battle Royal, mais rien ne me pousse à relancer ce jeu

With the return to Naraka after a year, it still slaps.
There are little other battle royals that effectively mix combat, exploration, and characters in the same way as Naraka, the closest I can compare it to being Apex, which shares the exact same major issues. With the matches being 20 minutes however, it works as a great drop-in, drop-out game.
The gameplay majorly works with a few wonky parts (like parrying feeling very odd) and some characters being outright better than others, but that's expected in a hero-like game, so it's of minimal interest. I think the real issues lie in Weapons and Items, some Weapons are downright broken, chaining into infinite combos that make it near impossible to break out of, and if you do, grapple-followups tend to overwhelm you before you can react. I do think that the abilities do feel good and that the weapons feel good otherwise, including the new weapons. I do think the new Showdown PvE mode is quite fun however, really being a fun break from the ranked climb. I do think there is quite a bot issue in NA, as of hitting Platinum V today, I have just started seeing more players than bots, however the bots are really f--king good, so I guess fair play.
This is also one of the only remaining games where I enjoy the way they monetize it. While you still will find your Loot Boxes and similar, the only thing that is pay-to-winish is a rune-like system (think old league) that is nearly essential, but does carry over, and they offset this by making newer players naturally better and placed against more bots. I think the rest of the monetizing (being skin and event-based) is really good and still rewarding for free-2-play players (especially being the game is now free-2-play entirely). With my return I did also get the "hero returns" event which was also quite rewarding, giving me max-tier rarity items for playing the game everyday for a week. Really just the team respecting it's players and their time, I like it a lot.
I don't think it's perfect, but the gameplay being decent-to-solid and the new PvE only adding to it, it is probably the best Battle Royal I've played as 95% of other games are gunplay and aim-first, and visually lacking intrigue. I think Naraka has some major issues, but far less than it did a year ago and I only look forward to keep playing and ranking up, as well as seeing them patch and update the game more consistently.
Overall, strong recommendation for my second review.

its just another battle royale also its so horribly optimized it lags so bad anywhere and any time you load into a match
First BR I have played and it was enjoy able. Wish there where more english speaker in this game.
