still a better game than Overwatch 2

Perfect material for a joke essay video where I know the ending conclusion is going to be "Maybe not everything needs to be analyzed that deeply." right from the beginning that's either going to be 10 minutes or 4 hours long with no in between.

An incredible critique on modern internet culture and how social media such as TikTok imprisons the youth of this generation. Sitting here doing nothing, playing nothing really allows me to refresh my thoughts and think about life. Masterpiece, changed my life.

What is the official meaning of nothing?
a matter of no importance or significance: it doesn't matter, it's nothing. indicating the absence of anything perceptible; nothingness. indicating the absence of meaning, value, worth, etc: to amount to nothing. zero quantity; nought.

With that in mind, this does it well, but nothing fucking sucks.

I've never enjoyed a game more than this. its riveting gameplay and immersive story really pull you in. Not to mention the jawdropping graphics and bosses.

This is a joke game but I can't stop thinking about the idea it pulls. The whole function of a game is to do something, your participation in a game is the game. The only way to win/finish/beat a game is by playing it, and the only way to "beat" Nothing is by not playing it at all. Your participation in it ends the game, you lose. But there is no end so your best option is to immediately uninstall it. Fun little thought experiment for the roughly 30 seconds I played it.

It's not lying
At least nothing is better than nothing good

I mean... it does what it sets out to do

"Modern art is very deep with lots of rich meanings..."

Modern art:

Это даже не игра, камон.
Но бесплатная хотя бы, да.

This game is supposed to be about nothing, but there's some text on the screen. What a fucking rip-off.

This anti-game is a thought-provoking and meditative experience, that delves deep and asks important questions. Such as "what is entertainment" and "to what extent are video games art". This game also explores several themes and ideas, such as the reduction of the attention span and the need for faster more condensed forms of entertainment.

Overall, living in a world so hyper-fixated on consumerism that feels the need to travel faster and faster and have more and more, it was nice to take a step back and just relax. I feel I will be coming back to this game over the years, to reflect upon my thoughts, feelings and experiences.
