One Night at Flumpty’s 2 is a vast improvement over the original.
In Flumpty’s 2 the characters don’t kill you outright. Instead, they peak into your room and your exposure meter increases. If it reaches max, you die. To stop it from increasing, you have to monitor where the characters are on the cameras to see if they are about to enter your room. If they are about to enter, you turn off your lights so they can’t see you when they peek into the room. That prevents the exposure meter from increasing. It’s a unique gameplay style I haven’t seen done in a fnaf fangame before.
It would be too easy if you only needed to stare at characters on the cameras. So, some of them have things that spice things up. The Owl, for example, attacks you from the vents. If you don’t close the vent door when it flies through, it’ll instantly kill you. There’s also Gunkfuss The Clown, who appears in your room after the timer on his camera goes to 0. So you need to check the camera’s timer to turn off the lights at the precise moment. These mechanics combined create an intense gameplay loop of constantly checking what every character is doing to survive. I enjoyed how the game focuses more on the cameras than most other fnaf-styled games. The camera’s are usually an afterthought, so it’s nice to see it getting some well-deserved focus. Overall the gameplay is a lot of fun!
The art style is also gorgeous. I love how the environments are drawn in a 2D art style. It gives the game a unique vibe I haven’t seen before in a fnaf game. It’s not scary, but I don’t think it’s trying to be.
The music is fantastic. The music track that plays during the night is oddly relaxing, which got me into the zone when I was playing.
Overall Flumpty’s 2 is a vast improvement over the original. In my opinion, skip the original and jump straight into the sequel. It's way better and more original.

Quite a good game, and definitely a step up from the first. I do find it to be very overrated in the community due to certain flaws in the gameplay and how it is really just a remixed Five Nights at Freddy's 2 that disguises it better than the first Flumpty's, but it's still fun and has that beautiful Flumpty vibe to it that makes the series so special.

This game was TOUGH. I had a blast. I thought, with it being just one night, I could beat it in four or five tries. WRONG. The art style, the gameplay loop, all of it was pretty awesome. Would love to see a Flumpty's 3 some day. 7.50/10

definitely an improvement from the first game in basically every single way but still doesnt reach the highs of fnaf4 for me im sorry that game is like my bar to say if a fnaf fangame is good or no
the concept is pretty much the same but instead of five nights youre gonna spend only one night in this place and thats still v cool if you ask me this game comes throws its ideas at you and then just runs away thats so fucking funny to me what the hell
so the general gameflow is the same for fnaf1 and onaf1 but with some different elements here and there sometimes a owl will come right at you trying to take a bite of that ass and the main cast will not actually kill you but theyre slowly gonna increase an exposure meter that will get you killed if you let it get to the maximum but realistically i got killed more times by the owl and not the other guys in this game so yeah youre adviced to really look out for him
the mechanic where you have to turn off the lights to prevent the guys from entering your office is also pretty interesting and unique for the fnaf fangames so far and makes for a great addition to the gameplay and creates a lot of strategising i was not expecting
the art direction is still pretty fire but also most of the things in this game are animated now you will see flumpty going boooooooo and tofu man looking at you menacingly its super cool if you ask me and the backgrounds are still full of different shit to look at its so weird
