Jank but charming ps2 era anime fighter
I still don't know why I 100% completed it

Esse jogo é bom d+! Melhor que os de hoje em dia.

I havent played this game, but this sanji pfp that i found after typing "sanji one piece pfp" google search is the coolest drawing of him i've ever seen holy hell its so badass

As a One Piece fan growing up this checked off so many boxes for me! Really cool, and another nostalgic experience for me.

Essentially an apology to American audiences for cutting content out of Grand Battle Rush, this adds some gameplay improvements, puts one of the cut characters back in on top of several new ones, and includes an entire new (and quite fun) Adventure mode.

If you can get past the...still somewhat embarrassing 4Kids names and voices this is honestly one of the better One Piece games

This is a pretty decent Power Stone clone.

A lot of the character's were brought faithfully moveset wise from the anime and manga, even if it was the 4Kids version that was focused on.

There are some fun arenas based on the earlier parts of the series, like Arlong Park and the Baratie, with the items bringing in some nice little chaos.

I also like how the adventure modes have their own mostly made up stories to tell, with Luffy's being an abridged and slightly altered retelling of the series up until Skypiea.

I will say though that unlocking characters is through the adventure modes, and some have an annoying difficulty curve, so trying out the rest of the cast may take longer than expected. Doesn't help either that the computers want to keep spamming grabs on you.

Either way, this is fun to play with some friends if you got the chance, even if you may not be a One Piece fan.

trash frick 4kids, i have a gamer speedrun of it though

Chibi Pirates smack the shit out of each other

Whoever chose to have Sanji sound like that, I just wanna talk.

Grand Adventure is a pretty fun fighting game. Oddly, it's a Christmas tradiation at the family's house to play this game. Holds a lot of memories for me, for that reason.

I give One Piece: Grand Adventure a strong 7!

My favorite One Piece game to this day and a great game in general. It's a sequel/expansion of the 'Grand Battle' game, with a fun story mode and a lot of side content to explore. The gameplay is average, the roster is good, and the stages are very fun. The downside is that the game is missing some characters, and I felt that this game could have included cutscenes or a more narrative way to end the chapters in the story mode. A great One Piece game and a good arena fighting game

This game was the dream game when i was a kid.
Now im an adult and i still have fun with it. The battle is fun, sometimes clunky, but you get used to it and really can take advantage of it.

The Roster is pretty good for the time, it had every major character from the last Grand Battle games except 3 (Aokiji, Hina and Foxy)

This game Story mode is called Adventure mode and its fun for what it is. You start with one member and go from island to island doing missions and progressing the seas.

Meanwhile, while you overcome the challenges of the islands, you will expand you crew and have more character to play with.

When you get to a island you can either have a Battle, mini game or just some dialogue. Thoose Battles and mini games may have a task for you to complete, if you complete that task while defeating the stage you will be rewarded with new support characters, outfits and items that upgrade your stats (you also unlock them in the gallery). This task's helps the game feel challenging more than it is.
Completing stages also rewards you character with xp, for every lvl you get a stat point to upgrade the character stats as you will.

You then can unlock more 4 adventure campaigns which has their own captain. Although this is were the game starts to get a bit too repetitive.

This game dialogue can be completed ignored, its a completely poor telling of the One Piece Story. The dialogue is minimal , bad and cringe. Some characters have the name changed and horrible voice acting.

In conclusion, its a good One Piece game for fans. Decent roster, ok combat system and honestly great graphics and models.
This game has a charm to it and its worth to check it out. With all the characters, stages, adventure campaigns and difficulty curve there dozens if not hundreds of hours of play.

grand battle with more characters and stages and a couple new mechanics that add a little more depth, cant really complain about anything with it

I was a sucker for the anime fighters, I can't lie

La banda sonora es pegadiza. El juego en sí, no tanto.

Literally the best retro One Piece game. Amazing technical combat system with lots of advanced strategies, godlike story mode campaign, great mini games and bonus game modes, and hilariously charming 4kids dub. 10/10

I don't recall there being a story mode. I believe I rented this game or something once, and it did have a kinda fun battle system for its type. Was funny hearing the 4kids voice acting though.
