I've still yet to try the new major world & I don't think I beat all of the worlds before I dropped the game but at SOME point whenever I get into another pvz phase I'll def pick it back up.
From what I've played this is just like a better balanced PVZ 2 and without a lot of the bullshit. It also makes the gameplay flow more like PVZ 1 in terms of pacing, which is what I generally prefer, but it still keeps it faster than 1 so it doesn't become monotonous and boring.
It's also surprisingly tough, at least the bonus levels are. Strategy is a lot more important in this game compared to 1.
I'm excited for all of the base worlds to get finished. It's def good fun for sure.

you guys need to play this mod to believe it. it's really really good, on par with the first game. dare i say, it might even be better than the first game.

Dare we say? This is the best mod we've played of a video game ever, if we're not including ROMHacks. This takes basically every issue with PvZ2 and fixes it, and is actually extremely funny. The music has NO reason to be this good. Maypop Mechanic has literally our favorite projectile in a video game ever.
The only flaws are that it's not actually finished yet for one, and for two, it expects you to know a bit of technical stuff about PvZ2 AND PvZ1--which can be a little annoying if you aren't paying attention. But just read the in-game text that explains it, and you'll be fine.
