Bio
Cam (her/him) & Tori (she/her): we're a plural system of 2!

Our rating metric:
• 0.5: Least favorites only.
• 1: Bad, but not least favorite.
• 1.5: Bad, but it has SOMETHING to it.
• 2: Rather bad, but still fun in some way.
• 2.5: True neutral, could do better, could do worse.
• 3: Alright, slight lean towards positive.
• 3.5: Good, but there's obvious issues on some level, or it's just rather short.
• 4: Good, well-rounded video games.
• 4.5: Really good, but not favorites.
• 5: Personal favorites only.

Exceptions are made (often) for games that warrant it to us (such as being so bad it's good/personal biases for or against), this is just a rule of thumb.

One of many who played the demo of this on RealArcade as a wee lass. It's like Qix, if it was utterly cacophanous in the music department and also had hilariously dated 3D graphics.

We'd be lying if we said it wasn't at least a little fun though. While we did just call the 3D graphics "dated", take note we didn't say they were bad--in fact, they have quite the charm to them. And while the music is, uh... Airxonix's music... Its sound effects are definitely much more pleasant and fun to listen to. You could do far, far worse with a Qixlike.

This is one of the loosest definitions of "video game" they've ever created--this is basically like asking "how much do you enjoy extra boxes in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl as a video game?" And the answer, dear reader, is... Suuuuure??? They added a few side-distractions to this, at least, so it's not a TOTAL wash, but like. It really is JUST a storage unit at the end of the day.

We will say? We like the graphics, if nothing else. The weird low-poly models pilfered from the Rumble games, and the fact there's official artwork of a Mii in the Pokemon art style is really funny to us. ;P

...and we're still a little mad that the update that adds stuff from Pokemon Platinum was only ever released in Japan.

Probably the second best post-megahiatus Halloween Special from Homestar Runner after the photo booth one, there's a lot to enjoy both if you understand all the adventure game references and if you're just a fan of the Homestar cast. We have gotta try that Steam release sometime...
