It exists. that's about the nicest thing I can say about it.

It pales in comparison to the mobile version, which actually has pulls that are worth something, custom teams, crossover characters, actual substance! Because a starving man would turn this away, that's how lacking it is in substance.

I loved Puzzle & Dragons on mobile but this is nothing like it. The fun of the game was pulling random monsters and coming up with your own teams but this literally takes that away and leaves you with a barebones matching game.

Oh dear. I'm so glad there was another review of this that explained that this wasn't the original experience of the game, otherwise I would never have figured out what would have given this series such a long lasting reputation. But yeah, this version has all the best stuff stripped away and leaves you with the most rudimentary experience possible, even for a matching game. I picked it up for $2 on sale and even that feels like too much.
