Even using emulator settings to get dual stick controls this game isnt worth it. The graphics are ugly and hard to parsh. The new enemy and item additions don't add much. Also enemies now continuously spawn in each wave regardless if there is any enemy spawning enemies still left which ruins the one screen appeal of the original.
