cool game, nice gameplay element's, addicting gameplay loop,

there was a guy that looked like a mix between ghengis khan and kratos

didnt know a lick of english when i played this

Nowhere near as good or charming as OSRS

Sou suspeito para falar já que jogo RuneScape desde de 2007, é nunca mais parei. Simplesmente um dos melhores MMORPG já feitos com uma história fantástica, habilidades para treino com uma infinidade de variações, missões é uma comunidade enorme.

Literally the best quests ever designed and written in an MMO. I love everything about this game but each time I find it harder to deal with the long input delay (tick rate). Jagex said a couple of years ago they were working on it but it seems it's been forgotten

I don't know if I've ever enjoyed an MMORPG quite the way I enjoyed RuneScape.

my lowest point in this game was being a child and begging on the streets of varrock for 5gp to buy a bronze longsword bc i didn't think to just kill some enemies for it

or was it the time i singlehandedly lowered the market price of cooking apples because i kept taking the respawning ones from the cooking guild and selling them on the grand exchange

or was it even the time i was a new player meeting with my friends and i lost them while running to a new city and i discovered the headbang emote and back then it was like 4 frames and found it so funny i had a laughing fit that made me have to stop using the computer for a bit

or was it the time a guy chased me through falador asking if i wanted his shoes (i didn't want his shoes) but i didn't know what to say so i said nothing and he chased me all through falador asking if i wanted his shoes

o Melhor MMORPG já feito na história dos video-games

I 'twas addicted... played all day and all night...

Then, a friend accidentally threw out the ax... playing on my account (an expensive item in the game... in game coins)... Was furious... Then I thought "I was wasting my time!!" Like... swinging a tree with an ax using my character allllll day and all night? Huh?

Then... I threw out the game (figure of speech)... And I never, ever played it again...

At least, to look at the bright side... It taught me how to trade!! Did much much better than school ever did... ;)

Will you be my girlfriend I'm 11

ah I remember when Runescape was released. Sweet sweet Runescape.

I always hated it!

very good game, recommended for all MMORPG lovers

this is what hypixel skyblock wishes it was

It's hard for me to speak objectively about a game like RuneScape. Most of my fond memories of the game come from the silly things I did with my friends, and not from any actual mechanic of the game. With hindsight I think RuneScape is quite a tedious game, but that never seemed to bother me at the time.

Genuinely like this game but the MTX/Double exp/other xp nonsense kinda ruin it since it makes "grinding" not worth doing.

that said, combat is cool, upgrades are cool, if no mtx, probably would've been a 4/5

I never knew what I was doing when I played this as a kid but I know I was having fun.

Morra Correr&Escapar (meus amigos já foram viciados nisso e não tenho paciência para jogar mais do que 30 minutos disso)

its been over 15 years for me
you dont quit this game
you just take long breaks

And... oh, I got to tell you, it was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details.

You just had to be there.

This game felt like a ponzi scheme.

One time I was in a student council meeting in middle school and someone caught me writing Runescape fanfiction in one of my notebooks and I just about died on the spot

my first interaction with this game was my friend convincing me to be a servant lighting up brazers in her creepy basement so she could train praying with some demon ashes

A graphical update from the other runescape games, but ruined by the amount of microtransactions. In addition, the Quality of life updates has sent it to be more of an idle game than an RPG. One bonus it has is its legacy, being very old with constant updates even to this day.

A game with many ups and downs, but overall still one of the best MMOs when it comes to respecting the players goals. While RS3 has become infested with microtransactions, there is a simple fix: Ironman Mode.

Ironman on Runescape 3 is the definitive way to play Runescape, and it my opinion is better than Old School Runescape. The amount of content you are able to get combined with the way the game respects your goals and time combined into a wonderful combination where you can easily sink 3000 hours into the game and still come back for more.

(Maxed RS3 HCIM with 3b+ Exp)

Zaros save me, I have over 10,000 hours logged into this game.
