Chulísimo y personajes muy variados, aunque con 10 años no conocía a casi ninguno. Quién me hubiera dicho que años después tendría casi todos los juegos de dichos personajes...

Eggman's theme is such a banger!!!

tengo recuerdos extremadamente confusos sobre este juego

Have really fond memories of playing this towards the end of high school. My brother and I booted it up often when we were younger, but I always wanted to go back and unlock all the characters as well as play other game modes. Finally got the chance in the form of the Single Player “Superstars” mode and I really enjoyed it. Just a lot of fun getting each character and playing the different kinds of tennis levels and challenges. 100%ing the game definitely took some effort, but I’m really glad I got to complete it while having fun in the process.

it certainly is a tennis game with sega superstars

If you're into tennis and sadistic torture, this game is for you!
In all seriousness, this is a charming little tennis game that unfortunately gets ruined by having some of the most unfair missions in any sport game, seriously these missions get on my damn nerves.

Most of the time, the game can be kind of enjoyable, but then you get those oddball missions that just make you want to pull your hair out
This game is bad , honestly don't really waste your time unless you're really into sega crossovers and like tennis...for some reason

It’s tennis! With a hedgehog! Wow! Really nothing special, I had fun with some of the planet superstar challenges, like the virtua cop ones were neat as were the space harrier ones. Chu chu rocket got annoying as fuck though, and playing 20 million tournaments was not fun! But it plays decently enough. Exactly what you’d expect from the title.

You can indeed play tennis as many Sega Superstars. 4/5.

despite playing through most of this game as a kid on the wii, I gave it a whole complete playthrough on the 360 because not only did I not actually finish this game on the wii, but this game was basically one of the many multiplatform games that I was always curious about the HD version of.

It do be tennis. I definitely haven't played enough tennis games to really say how realistic/accurate/good/whatever of a tennis game this is, but it played alright. The game doesn't really tell you how to play in-game, and the manual does a trash job explaining things so good luck, I guess.

While I may not be the biggest tennis fan, I am a huge sega fan and in the category of sega fanservice this game also is a bit in hmm territory. It felt like the amount of content in here was rushed, as there are a lot of categories on the sega challenge map that only have like one event just to unlock the one specific character/stage that comes from that series. Outrun and After Burner get their own stages, but Space Harrier for some reason doesn't despite having a whole minigame based around it? Why do the Puyo Puyo and Chuchu Rocket minigames take place on other series courses, yet the Virtua cop minigame not only gets its own recreation of the intro of Virtua cop as a setpiece, but also its own unique gameplay style???? It's certainly strange.

Overall its okay. They bundled this with a lot of Xbox 360 systems and yea, it's a totally serviceable family tennis game. The simplistic gameplay and real lack of committal to references just kinda makes this game kinda basic and forgettable, I guess.

my only exposure to Jet Set Radio. I should change that, I always thought he was cool

Quem foi que pensou nisso aqui?
Joguei na versão de PS2, mas deve ser bacana no Wii.

The basic tennis matches in this are fairly solid, if fairly standard. You have a few different types of shots, and run back and forth hitting the ball. As you hit the ball, you will build up “superstar” mode to build up, where you can activate a special power – although oddly I found that Sonic’s ability (Super Sonic) made it easier on the opponent, by swinging the ball to the centre of the court instead of the sides. If you don’t like it, you can make it longer to charge or just turn it off.

While the normal matches are nothing special, in the singleplayer mode, you will encounter lots of different ways to play. You will have to play a lot of matches and tournaments to unlock it all, but it’s well worth it. Some minigames are a bit dull (the Sonic ones especially, as they’re just walking around and don’t involve hitting the ball), but others can be a lot of fun.

In the Super Monkey Ball missions, you’ll progress through different kinds of hitting monkey balls into holes by hitting them with a tennis ball, before ultimately playing snooker trick shots by hitting a cue ball in a way so it hits another ball into a hole (and you can’t pocket the cue ball). Each mode builds up on its concepts like this until you get to the “main mode”. The Puyo Puyo mini game is incredibly good fun, and you have to hit Poyo pieces to get rid of them (hitting blocks of the same colour will get rid of all of them). House of the Dead and Virtua Cop require you to hit enemies with tennis balls, while Chu Chu Rocket works well as tennis.

I think it’s a shame that you have to play though some of the duller parts of Sega Superstars Tennis in order to get to the minigames, because the events you do unlock are a ton of fun.

is this that new "sonic superstars" game everybody's been talking about

Fun game, SAMBA DE AMIGO BABAAAAAA BABABAB ABABAAAAAAAAAA

This a massive nostalgic trip for me. It was a introduction to many Sega games. And I still find it satisfying to get all characters.

Expect Alex Kidd. Why is it so grindy to unlock his stage and why does he know exactly how to fuck me over before the match has started

The Tennis Of All Time.

It's certainly a game I have played and experienced and I don't really have much to say except from the references and presentation are very top notch and its tennis I mean there really isn't much to say about this title its a fun game for an hour or two to play with a friend who may also like SEGA ip's but nothing much more or less than that overall an average game.

Is it weird that I wanna replay this?

From what I remember of playing it, it was fine. Just nothing amazing. Nothing I couldn't do in Wii Sports.

During the first hour it seemed pretty average, but the more I played, the more I got into it. Solid tennis gameplay with plenty of Sega fan service to keep you hooked. Good graphics and some classic Sega themes. Voices and constant jingles were annoying. So were the endless ‘new stuff’ messages between missions and having to navigate too many menus to start the next mission. Too much bloat, basically. A-Ranked all the Superstar mode and unlocked all the mini games and characters. That’s enough for me. I may return in the future to enjoy some of the ball games like Puyo Puyo or Space Harrier, but the CPU matches were my least favourite aspect. Also, a disappointing lack of Phantasy Star Online.

in this game sonic plays tennis

this may be the best tennis games you'll ever play, the side game modes are really fun and I also really enjoy the main mode as well, should def give this one a try

Esse jogo é muito divertido pois tem o crossover de várias franquias e elas se enfrentam no tênis, simples não? Não me recordo se eu cheguei a zerar o modo história porém cheguei a jogar bastante.
