A nice improvement over the original thanks to Sierra's updated SCI engine. The jump from 16-color EGA graphics to 256-color VGA resulted in a big improvement in the visuals, and moving to an icon based mouse interface made for smoother gameplay as well. The story is still the same and nothing to write home about, but I think this is easily the definitive version of the game for those new to the series.

Still has a lot of the same design issues as the original but you can actually see the glass shard in this version plus you can skip the arcade sequence and move through the gambling part pretty quickly. I think the new graphics are really nice too. I know the designers of the original hate this version but it's a better game
