This game is realistic, this is what I dream of on a regular basis. 10/10 on that.
It's weird, and I like that. It's no Battle for Bikini Bottom or Movie Game, but it's solid. Just don't play it on Wii. I'd much rather take worse graphics and a usable control scheme over tacked on motion and pointer controls.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature From the Krusty Krab presents an unexpected challenge, with difficulty levels rivaling that of Dark Souls. While marketed as a game for children, its intricate mechanics and lack of clarity on basic controls can be frustrating. The game fails to specify simple details, such as whether "right" refers to the player's right or the game's right, leading to confusion.
One major oversight is the integration of motion controls on the Xbox Series X controller, which are never explained. This omission significantly impacts gameplay, leaving players to struggle with controls that were seemingly overlooked during development.
Despite these issues, the game offers a unique and challenging experience, ranking as the second most difficult game of all time, behind Dark Souls III. However, improvements in clarity and control explanations are necessary for future installments to cater to both casual and experienced gamers.

I swear to god I've beaten this game 3 times and can only remember like 3 levels from it. Each time I played it again, I didn't remember well over half of it.
Like being unmemorable is one thing, but to the point where I question if I'd even beat it before those other 2 times? Is this game real? Did I hallucinate this?

Look, this game is probably not as good as I remember it and most likely not as good as some of the best Spongebob games.
With that said, I remember really loving this one growing up just for how nonsensical it was. It never sticked to just one idea or gameplay style and that's what kept it fresh and unique for me.
Maybe I will revisit it someday to realize it's not nearly as good as I think it was but for now, one of the better licensed games I ever played.

It should be noted I played a good amount of this as a kid and I remember liking it so as far as this replay went I enjoyed the time with it, but it froze right before the Gary race and despite cleaning and making sure there wasn't anything funny going on it just kept freezing at the loading point so I'll probably be skipping out on replaying the game in full. It was decent and unique for a SpongeBob game, but the levels were kind of repeating and the enemy types were meh. But racing was fun and the gross designs were definitely eye grabbing.

Very fun turn your brain off kinda game, I quite like Plankton's presence in this and his levels with being chased by a Krabby Patty (music is a big reason why) and the giant movie monster levels (as seen on the boxart), tho Starfishman levels, while cool at first, just kept dragging on and on and on and ugh I just got sick of them after a while
