For me, the best game in the series by far, if you've never played any game in the series, I recommend starting with this one (and it will probably be just this one), it takes everything that the original games ignored that was bad, and fixes many of those flaws, making a game so more enjoyable to play, much more thoughtful level design and enemy positioning in a platform game style and not a shoot em up like the previous ones, even the graphics are more sophisticated and the music is one of the best on the SNES. Seriously, if you've never played it, give it a chance, it's not "wow what a game", but it's a lot of fun (except for the zero gravity part which looks more like a worse version of the water phase, but you just have to go slowly and there aren't that many phases like that, thank God)

Man, yet another mediocre Bonk game. Feels like the Game Boy ones and maybe the first PC Engine one are the only ones that felt fun to play.

Bonk yet again controls badly, and this came out after the GB games where he controlled great.

The level design is pretty nice, though. And the main reason I gave it the score I did.

Jogo de filho da puta
Jogo de quem bate na mãe
Jogo de quem vota no MBL

I actually enjoyed this one more than Bonk 3.

probably my second favorite bonk (so far) tbh

This is one of those games carried by its batshit theming and the fact that it's not a pain in the ass. Otherwise, it's a fine diversion in the pantheon of mostly-clunky or cruel Super Nintendo platformers. I'd score it higher if it weren't for some of the dullest yet unwieldy boss battles I've sat through in a minute.

Although the branching paths are a nice departure from the series, it still uses the growth/shrink gimmick from the third entry, the visuals look washed out, and the music is rather forgettable.

Super Bonk is alright, I wasn't too big on the big & small candy gimmick and some of the levels were a tad annoying, but others were pretty solid. The music is pretty nice too. Visually its kinda devoid of color and it was easy to see lazy sprite reuse of the TG16 games. Not a bad game but not a good one either. Very middle of the road.

I have to admire the balls on this game to include more than one slippery ice level when it already controls like you're on ice all the time

This game is my first experience with the Bonk series, originally trying it around 2016 or so and then accidentally ditching it about halfway through. Super Bonk is both cutesy and completely insane, just about nothing in it makes any sense whatsoever and I love it for that. A lot of the appeal is in seeing what crazy things will happen next, but the gameplay itself is very fun too, although generally it's pretty basic platformer stuff. There's a few detours and shortcuts you can take, allowing for more replayability. The weakest aspect is probably the bosses, a lot of them are rather underwhelming both to play and in comparison to all the goofiness of the rest of the game. That's all that really springs to mind right now, though. I would definitely recommend this one, if you're not really into its antics it'll probably just feel mid or something but I found myself thoroughly amused almost all throughout.

Sorry, but playing Super Bonk and saying "How?" every 15 seconds is not a personality trait.
