I really, really wanted to like this one, but it just fell flat

Boring game despite the attractive setting and premise. Both dialogues and exploration are incredibly slow, with little to no input from the player. There is an interesting section where you are asked to stay still despite weird stuff happening around you. It only happens once during the whole game, but I thought that could have been used a few more times to spice things up. It seems that you can get different endings depending on your choices, but it never felt like my actions mattered. You just follow people around and answer questions. The controls are so wonky that even picking up objects or walking down a hallway can become frustrating. It was a nightmare with the motion controllers. The voice input was an excellent idea though, I just found out I am a terrible actor!!

Expected to be at most scared, at the very least entertained. But just felt gross. I thought perhaps the VR was making me sick as was reported with some, but it's just an ugly game.

It's decent as a horror experience, but doesn't do too much that well. some of the interactivity has some jankiness and odd controls, and the story itself is interesting, but falls apart through it. I like supermassive overall, and there were a few cool moments in this. I feel like the choice based movie games like this are interesting, but this one just didn't adapt to VR as well as it could have.

Very blurry and nauseating gameplay. The story sucks. It’s the wendigo again. Jump scares out of nowhere. Eat the cockroach and whoops you’re a cannibal now

The first half seems to be building to something interesting, but that something is just trudging through poorly lit and rendered hallways devoid of any danger, with a loading screen every two minutes.
