I'm surprised I haven't said anything abt KOF '02 despite referencing it in my KOF '01 and '03 "reviews". This is my go-to KOF game. The best one. All the characters in one non-canon entry, which is everything I loved abt the other KOF games (KOF '95-'98).

Fiquei com vontade de revisitar esse jogo pra matar a saudade e percebi como ele é pior que o KOF 2002 UM em diversos aspectos, mas uma coisa que simplesmente continua insuperável pra mim é a trilha sonora e os estágios que são muito icônicos e nostálgicos, jogar essa versão do jogo me fez voltar no tempo. O 2002 UM é um jogo melhor de fato, mas essa versão continua sendo muito especial pra mim.
o auge de um fighting game
All i really want to say about this one is, its noncanon to the plot. It has an amazing roster, being a dreammatch game. Kinda like the feel of this one more than 2002um.

My first kof game and did only play this game in the arcades. The roster in this game is incredible and everyone has different fun moves and incredible pixel art. Guest characters are also really fun and the 3v3 format feels really unique. Have not played any other kof so might rate this lower when i do. 5 stars for nostalgia and originality.

Sure, I got called some slurs here and there, But sometimes they were cases when the other player went out of his way to complement your play style. The OST in this game ranges from the best renditions of Tears, last dance, ESAKA?,Kurinkinton and Kim themes I ever heard, to farts sounds renditions in example : beauty and beast, Diet, bloody and some others. The songs implemented into the gameplay sucks. You can never hear Tears complete or start because you either die or the match ends, this applies to every song.

Não sei porque nunca decidi jogar KOF. É tão extraordinário! As lutas são muito boas, movimentação fluida, combos muito bons, e principalmente difíceis de fazer(pra mim, pelo menos, pois quase não tive contato com a franquia) e um elenco de personagens incríveis, eu já achava os de Street Fighter muito bom, mas o de KOF é infinitamente superior. KOF02 Supremacy.
