Excellent pack, witch (heh) finally adds magic! Ah, I remember when Sims packs actually included a decent amount of content. T_T

SOMEONE COOKED HERE👩‍🍳

Apartment Life was another one of the great expansions to TS2. Being the last, and also, on of the best. Adding apartment like conditions, landlords, roommates, and lot of objects and interaction related to living in a smaller, and shared living environment. Reputation and "social class" where also present here mostly in the form of lot value, and reputation being based on how you sims treated other determined how they would be treated; a very in-depth concept I found. Overall making Apartment Life a highly polished and very well made pack.

Probably one of my favorite Sims 2 add-ons.

You know, the newer Sims games also always included apartments in some expansions or later, but they never ever let you really build a whole apartment building. Sims 3 didn't let you redesign them, without move objects cheat and in Sims 4 the redesigning is also limited, but here you were able to build the whole apartment, with public spaces.
Thus, while in Sims 4 the whole house is waking up because of a loud neighbor, here only actually neighboring walls can become a problem. Way better and way more realistic... Even though there can be loud music coming from a flat without a stereo.

The social groups are a nice little new feature. The only thing I consider random in this add-on are witches.

I didn't have all the expansions for the The Sims 2 but I had this one. I remember it added witches and apartments (of course) into the game. The Sims becomes more "urbanized" and living in an apartment really adds a lot of extra fun.

For some reason, the dlcs I didn't own were always so much better than ones I did. But to be honest, Apartment Life is the best The Sims 2 dlc. You can be a witch. You can live in an apartment house. I don't remember anything else but if this is not enough for you, what is?
