The Game of the Year Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt makes this one of the most complete videogame experiences ever, with 2 amazing expansions and an insane amount of additional content.

An absolute monster of a videogame.
The main story is very well made with an exceptional cast of characters, and the writing is fantastic, everything in the game has depth to it.

The amount of content is absolutely ridiculous, at first you might get overwhelmed by all the activities the game throws at you, but exploring the map and doing side quests is definitely worth it, this game has perhaps the best side quests I've ever experienced, and the quest design is phenomenal.

The dialogue options are groundbreaking, almost every quest has different outcomes and interactions, it's insane. Your actions have consequences and if you're not careful, you can miss entire questlines that can alter your entire experience with the game.

Also I think it's worth mentioning how beautiful the soundtrack is, it's pretty much one of the highlights of the game and really sets the tone perfectly.

It's an all-around solid game, it does almost everything very well, except from the gameplay which is a little bit clunky so you'll have to get used to it.
The biggest problem I have with the game personally is the amount of filler and padding in the first half of the story, it's a slow burn and takes too long for the pacing to get good, however, even when it's slow, it's still great and has so many things to offer.

The Open World is one of the best I've ever explored, it's very enjoyable from start to finish, there are so many things to do in this game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt achieved the impossible, it's unbelievable how a small Polish studio managed to create a remarkable videogame like this one.

Final Rating: "Masterpiece" ~ 10/10.

One of the best games I've ever played. Calling this game big is an understatement... This game is ENORMOUS! So much to do, side missions feel like the main story, monster contracts always have something new to offer, and the characters are super well-written. I miss the countless evenings that turned into nights playing this game, hopefully I'll be able to experience this magic one day again.

The Best Video game experience i've ever had

Není to muj nejoblíbenější styl her ale oproti dvojce je to masterpiece. DLC budu muset ještě dohrát

AS DLC'S DESSA COMPLETE EDITION SÃO AS MELHORES EXPANSÕES JÁ CRIADAS EM TODO MUNDO, É COMO UM NOVO JOGO, Q TRABALHO Q A CD PROJECTS FEZ AO FAZER TUDO RELACIONADO A ESSE JOGO CARA!!

This is one of the best games ever made and I think everyone should try it.While it's amazing the combat is not good and the open world can feel repetitive and sometimes it feels like a checklist for you do go and complete question marks.Despite that the atmosphere the game provides is one of the best experiences you can have and the villages and citys feel populated and actually like real people live there. The main city is a marvel of technology and its amazing every time you visit it.The story is very well written especially the early questlines but sadly it kind of falls off at the end and it feels extremely rushed which may be the case of cut content. The characters are all extremely well acted and excellently written and the conversations flow very well which cannot be said for most games. In conclusion while it's a flawed game it's still amazing and everyone should experience the world of The Witcher 3

Setting the high bar this medium has to offer, always reffered to one of the best and it's well deserved.

Replaying this for the third time, and continuously in awe of what an achievement The Witcher III remains. CD Projekt Red take a genre that was already becoming tired (AAA open world RPGs) and simply applies good taste, thoughtful design and good writing.

Every inch of this game feels interconnected and alive. Where other games ask you to flit across their maps between objectives, The Witcher III turns the smallest locations into vivid, unique worlds of their own with unique characters, dramas and problems. Every village or neighborhood becomes a premise unto itself, spiraling into an engrossing series of interactions, exploration and side-quests.

Above all else, this game's world is so captivatingly realized that everything it does, from the mundane to the blockbuster thrills, is nothing short of entrancing.

I am very proud of polish developers. Kocham te gre

10/10 game best combat, great stories and dlcs, and great exploration

A small Polish studio shakes the gaming industry out of nowhere with the last installment of The Witcher series.
Despite having a simple story, all the subplots and characters make up for it; The Witcher 3 has a great story, arguably one of the most immersive and well-written stories in a western RPG in my opinion.
The gameplay, unfortunately, is one of The Witcher 3's weakest parts, however, it's decent nonetheless; it feels satisfying and it plays well for the most part, it just lacks depth and the movement feels a bit floaty.
The RPG elements are not necessarily deep, but they're well executed. There is a fair amount of different equipment, perks, upgrades and status effects that can affect the gameplay. On the other hand, the dialogue options and different outcomes are done masterfully, the highlight of the entire game.
The quest design is excellent as well for the most part. Aside from some chores sprinkled through the game, the side-quests in The Witcher 3 are some of the best I've seen in a videogame in general.
Also, the game has a ton of mandatory and optional content, and both of the expansions are absolutely impressive.
Lastly, the music is incredible and the graphics are beautiful.
The pacing of the game, however, is not perfect; the story in particular takes quite long to get going.

Pros:
+ Fantastic narrative
+ Amazing characters
+ Dialogue options
+ Quest design
+ Tons of content
+ Gorgeous visuals and soundtrack

Cons:
- Story padding

Narrative: 9/10
Gameplay: 6/10
Content: 10/10
Characters: 9/10
Music: 10/10
Graphics/Audio: 9/10

Final Rating: 10/10

While not exactly flawless, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a perfect videogame experience and arguably the best western RPG ever made without feeling overwhelming for non-RPG lovers.

Do I recommend it?:
A must-play videogame for literally everyone.

One of the best games I have ever played!
Amazing story, great gameplay mechanics, awesome trilogy ending!

Best game ever, no default and pure gameplay in 1214 that will compleatly overwhelm you in the middle age. Just perfect and more than that because of the post game and secrets that still hard to find years after.

Gameplay is bad to average at best, definitely not what you play this game for. The story is overall just decent. It can reach great highs at times, especially in the Blood & Wine DLC, however it also often drags along at a horrible pacing to justify a longer game time.

One of the best open world games. Not sure what to say that hasn't been said

Of all the GOTY's throughout the years, I strongly think Witcher 3 is absolutely the most deserving GOTY of all time.

Every now and then I come across that one video game that just completely changes my life and Witcher 3 is one of them. Witcher 3 was my introduction to the witcher franchise and without a shred of doubt in my mind, this is possibly the best way I got introduced to a franchise ever. Witcher 3 is almost a decade old now and to think a game this old is still so incredible and even rivals most of the AAA games we have been getting recently. The amount of content packed in this game is just astonishing, there's tons and tons of stuff to do in this game and they somehow managed to keep all that content and yet I never felt overwhelmed looking at them. I don't think I have felt bored playing this game even for a second, it was a long playthrough for me and yet it felt rather short because of how immersive the game can be. When it comes to world building, environments, NPCs and just the overall aesthetics, witcher 3 vastly exceeds any other worlds I experienced in games. The map is ginormous and you get 5 different regions scattered across the map and each of those regions have their unique atmosphere and vibe to them, they have a lot of differences but one common thing among them is that they're all incredibly beautiful and incredible in their own way. Tons of side quests to do and I spent a lot of the playthrough doing side quests, which to me just shows how passionate the developers must be for this game. I'm not trying to imply that the main story line was bad but to think they would put so much effort into so many different side quests is just mind boggling to me. The main story itself is really amazing, although I don't know a lot of the lore, the game still managed to draw me in with its rich story and characters. Geralt and Ciri's relationship is a really underrated father/child trope, I might even say its up there with Kratos/Atreus or maybe even a little better. I enjoyed their conversations and the story makes it clear how much they love each other regardless of them not being blood related. All the characters in this game are handled well. They have different personalities, different accents, clothes, they react differently to different things which is pretty rare in most games now. NPCs actually feel alive which makes the world all the more lively and fun. The gameplay is very fun, love the sign usage and the various potions, oils etc.., that you can use as an advantage during fights. The game has a lot of freedom and let's the player decide the kind of playstyle they wanna do. Variety of armors, weapons, skills, items you can find and craft and they all look great. I really loved how geralt is like a detective for almost the entire game, I'm a big fan of detective stuff which makes geralt one of my favorite protagonists. The character writing in this game is just top notch. I just can't stress enough on how much I enjoy the conversations between the characters and the different dialogue options they give you. It's just awesome. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of other things but if I sat down to remember them all, I'll just keep writing forever. So I'll jump to DLCS.
When a DLC isn't just adding some new skins and side quests and actually expand upon the game and make it even better. If you ask me the DLCs are arguably better than the main game itself. They expand on the story and add tons of other stuff and a whole other region and their own storylines. You can just say that one DLC is better than the other and you wouldn't be wrong because of how phenomenal they are. I have a hard time choosing one which really shows how much the studio actually cares for the game. I love the contrast and parallels these dlcs have. While Hearts of stone looks a bit bleak, sad and depressing, the story in contrast is a bit more hopeful and bittersweet, on the other hand Blood and Wine is this grand and the most beautiful place you'll see in this game, the story is fucked up and the more you progress the darker it gets. They really compliment each other and provide an even enhanced and better experience for the players. Not to forget all the new characters in both DLCs are well done. Personally I liked Iris and Olgeird the most and had more of an impact than the other ones, their story is really sad but you still get the chance to give them a "happy" ending. The villains in both the dlcs are also done well, and just like the storylines they compliment each other too. Gaunter is a normal looking dude but is the most evil person you'll ever meet, while Dettlaff is a scary vampire, he is just misunderstood and antagonized and turns out to be manipulated. I don't think I have ever seen a studio put this much care to a fucking DLC before, and they both might be my fav DLCs for a long time.

clunky gameplay but addicting once you get the hang of it. dad that works as a pest exterminator simulator 2015
